Date of visit: October 18, 2023I've never really understood the fascination and reverence that some folks seem to have for Sendik's, I've always found their stores to be narrow and over-priced with this outlet in Greenfield not straying from that pattern. My husband really likes their apples and since we found ourselves on this side of town, hit up this location for some Granny Smith's. I did look through some other areas of the store while he perused the pommes in the produce section and outside of some dark chocolate candy bars, there wasn't anything that really caught my eye.Folks rave about their service, but the checkout interaction wasn't any different (fair to middling) from any other grocery store, so I remain to be mystified about what all the Sendik's fuss is about.

Hot Soup used to be really good. Now its weird flavors and Sendiks is watering down leftover soup to the point of being flavorless. Very Disappointed

These mangoes are not ripe; they're rotten and mushy. They have no arugula and only huge bags of spinach. Friendly guy stocking shelves tried to help me find a common canned tomato product that I bought two weeks before, but they didn't have it and the space no longer has a label. Check out had three long lines and no sackers.Management?

Much better than chains like Whole Foods. Great unique products and good service. My go to.

I like the convenience of these smaller size upscale grocery stores, but not the pricing. Sendik's, here and other locations, use way too much plastic. They make coffee in the morning then that's it, stale old coffee the rest of the day. I've found the workers to be nice, but there's a high turnover and a shortage which combines to less than ideal.

My favorite grocery store in the area. Period. Yeah it's a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for, quality and service, and they often have good deals. The more I come here the more I like it.The meat section, deli, Bakery, produce, and the self serve area. It's all better here than the other stores in the area. In the past few years, other stores have added some of the features that Sendick's has had for years, i.e. self serve salad bars etc. They're trying, but they don't quite measure up to Sendicks.Lots of great local products here throughout the store, but I especially dig the local spirits and beer. Also good vibes here; it's kind of like shopping at a grocery store up in Door County, friendly staff and shoppers. Plenty of space to move around in here, and the parking spots are huge. The lot may often be full, but I've never waited long to checkout. I may not exclusively shop here, but I'll continue to make regular visits here.

I love the HELL out of this store! I notice a few people commented that Sendik's is "on the pricey side", and I interpret this as "still cheaper than Chicago".Whenever I come to Milwaukee to visit my Mom, we make a trek here to stock up with goodies. The brands they have here are fantastic, a lot of things not commonly found elsewhere. Tremendous variety, like a curated Woodmans. Well organized, well stocked, gorgeous produce. Delicious deli meats and a tremendous variety of snacks!I remember the original, tiny Sendik's on Prospect that I used to visit as a kid, with my parents. I always felt like that store was chic and European, and I'm glad it's still around and thriving.

This year I decided to go with Sendicks for heat and serve Thanksgiving Dinner. I have to say this was the closest to homemade that I ever had, We got the meal for 10, which came with a 10 lb uncarved turkey, (or carved if that's what you want) 3.5 lbs of sage and onion stuffing, 3,5 lbs of real mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry orange zest, pumpkin pie, and rolls, all for $150.00. We also ordered 10 twice-baked sweet potatoes that were out of this world. There was a small hiccup with our order but the manager handled it so quickly and professionally I won't even bring it up. Why oh why did I spend all those years in the kitchen cooking from scratch!Sorry no pics, dove right in

Incredible place. Expensive. But what isn't with inflation, thanks to Democrats. Love to shop here. Quality is a given. Best gift shop! I took off 1 star for costly factor. They do have specials to be competitive.

The food is just fine. The staff is friendly and helpful AND I will never ring up and bag my own groceries again. The other stores in town can go straight to h@ll.
