Was up here for work during the Super Bowl so I decided to order in to my hotel room. Got their steak sandwich plus an order of their jalapeno cheese curds. All in all, the food was good. The steak was an actual steak, not just slices of meat and was cooked medium like I had asked. The fries were your standard fries that were decent but nothing mind blowing. The cheese curds were okay but didn't seem to have much of a jalapeno "kick" to them so I was a little sad. Like I said, I ordered in so all I can review is the food. I'd definitely check this place out in person at some point, though!

Stopped in for dinner with my kids while on a road trip after getting a recommendation for a great local spot from a member of the Front Desk staff at the Cambria Hotel in Appleton, WI. Server was friendly and helpful. We ordered Cheese Curds, Jalapeño Cheese Curds, and the Jalapeño Stuffed Pretzel for appetizers. Really enjoyed the Curds. They were fresh, served with Ranch Dressing and not at all greasy as some are. The pretzel was ok. I ordered the PB&J (yes, Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly) Burger with Bacon and Pepper Jack Cheese (added Jalapeños). My Son ordered the Patty Melt on Marbled Rye. And my Daughter Soup De Jour, Potato Cheese Soup. Start with the burgers. 1/2 lb fresh ground beef, Made to order. Excellent! No leftovers! My daughter liked her soup too. Very cool place! Would come back someday if ever in Appleton again.

Good place to go for drinks. The old fashions and margaritas are spot on. Would say food is just average though. I would not expect anything more from a local dive bar.

We went for the fish fry and were disappointed with the size of the perch and were told they were smaller than normal. We will give them another chance at another time. I had a burger which I've had there many times before and they're always very good. They were very busy but service was adequate. Definitely a go to place for burgers.

First timer foe the Friday Fish Fry. We have lived in Wisco for most of our lives and THIS was the BEST FISH FRY we both have had. Period. Haddock is unbelievable, Blackened Haddock even better! Great food, great staff, great fish Fry. If you're looking for classic Wisco fish Fry you have to try Scuba's!

Came for a late lunch on a weekday. The service was quick. Great burgers, good pours! Really enjoyed the peanut butter burger with a pint. The ambiance is typical Wisconsin sport's bar. Best service at the bar.

These are the best burgers in Appleton. They are flavorful and grilled perfectly with a toasted and buttered bun. I was on a mission to find a good burger in this area and must have been to 15 places before settling on this as the favorite. I have consistently had friendly and fast service despite it being a full house and only 2 servers/bartenders. This is the perfect example of a small-town bar where the bartenders know you and the food is made to order and hearty. The drinks are strong and always refilled quickly. It's nothing special from the outside and the odd parking lot shape, but definitely worth a visit.
