For Midwest sushi the food was good it just wasn't a memorable meal like we were hoping.I did enjoy that there were a handful of rolls with different fruits and the size of the sushi was perfect where you could actually eat it in one bite without it being too much. Our waitress was nice and the restaurant was easy to locate. If you're looking like a sushi fix like we were this place will scratch that itch I'm just not confident we would go back.

If you're a sushi lover, Screaming Tuna in Milwaukee's Third Ward is a must-visit spot! Nestled right on the river, the ambiance alone makes it a fantastic experience, and the food takes it to the next level. We started with appetizers, trying the Crab Chipotle Wontons and Gyoza--both were incredible! For our main courses, we ordered the Black Angus Shroom Boom (a delightful surprise!) and the Screaming Tuna Signature Roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The cocktails were also a highlight; the Pine After the Hunter was a standout, perfectly balancing flavors and pairing well with our meal.By the time we left, the whole restaurant was packed, which speaks to its popularity and quality. Amazing food, great drinks, and lively atmosphere--highly recommend for sushi enthusiasts and anyone looking for a great dining experience on the river!

Absolutely delicious sushi and drinks! It was a busy Friday night, but our server made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. It was beautiful to look out and see the lake! Beautiful interior - I will definitely try it in the summer to sit out on the patio. Parking is tough, so use a ride share or carpool if you can!

Seriously amazing dinner! Screaming tuna is one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee and never let me down. Me and my friend split the spicy garlic edamame (not pictured) and it is one of my favorite appetizers! Super fresh and has the perfect kick! I opted for the Kennedy cocktail and it was delicious! Strawberry puree, ginger beer, lime and basil. So simple but so refreshing. My usual sushi order is a spicy tuna but decided to be adventurous and go for the spicy rock crab and holy crap- new favorite roll! The crab was so fresh and a little sweet and had the perfect texture! Such a simple roll but so flavorful. This place is perfect for any occasion and is honestly pretty affordable. Our server was sweet and the atmosphere is so chill. 10/10!!

Pleasant upscale sushi restaurant. Nice views based on location. I'm no sushi connoisseur but I enjoyed the dishes we ordered. The service was great and every worker we encountered was friendly. Our waiter was funny and kind. Great place to enjoy either on a date or with friends for a special occasion!

1st time and I loved it. Vibes are on point. Sat outside, parking wasn't bad but you'll probably have to find street parking. There is parking right in front but not a ton of spots. First off, non sushi review. - the miso short ribs were to die for. One of the best short rib dishes in the area. The mash potatoes it sits on are so buttery. Yum. On sushi lover will enjoy. - sushi for six is plenty especially if you start with apps. - the appetizer, crispy spicy tuna is a must. So good. I've heard they have half off sushi on Sundays.Going back as it satisfied my sushi craving.

Not sure why this place is so highly recommended on Yelp. Went here with family after a recommendation from a friend, and the sushi is not very good at all. Chicken "sushi" should have been an immediate red flag. The view of the river is nice, but I can't get around the food quality, so I will not be dining here again. There are MUCH better places to get sushi in the city.

We didn't make a reservations so we had to just sit wherever. The tempura wasn't the best. Shrimp was small, some of the veggies was under cooked. Wasn't a fan of green & red peppers tempura. Wouldn't order it again. Gyoza was good. Crab wonton, sauce was good but I didn't like how it was already on the wontons. By the time we ate it, the bottom was soggy. Not a fan. Some of the Nigiri was not fresh. We're people who don't like jalapenos, mangoes, lettuce, asparagus etc... just extra stuff in our rolls. So we wasn't a fan of the Lava Monster because of the jalapenos. It was over powering, took one bite and tossed the rest away. Overall, it was Ok. I've had better. And this was our second time eating here. We wanted to give it another try.
