Super fun ice cream shop in Hartford with a wide variety of products (not only ice cream). It has all the vibes of a classic diner. The service is also good, they are very quick.Family friendly spot to check out.

The variety of in-house made ice creams, along with the old soda fountain feel make this one of our go to establishments in Hartford. The kids who work there are always friendly and smiling and interacting positively with the kids and families that are coming in.

What a gem!!! Imagine step back into the 1950s to have a homemade ice cream shake and sitting at a soda counter! Not only is the ice cream to die for but the prices are so cheap!!!!! Do yourself a favor and visit scoop deville

Earlier in the day, my daughter had a traumatic day at a school because of a lock-down and all she wanted that evening was ice cream. We to Hartford--arrived at Scoop Deville; didn't realize it was closed because there were at least 4 families still inside (I counted)-- two tables with people, someone at the counter, another someone standing PLUS at least three other staffers just standing around. It was 8:06. "We're closed," the kid behind the counter tells us. I said, "UGH! We tried DQ and they were closed, too! We just want a quick cone." To which the teenager replied, "Well. Guess this isn't your night." EXCUSE me? I'm telling you right now; I've been a business owner and if had a store with customers, and a small family walked inside and all they wanted was a cone that would take 2 minutes to serve -- I would serve them. It was six minutes past closing. I will NEVER go back to this place, and you can rest assured I'll be spreading the word.

They serve 4 different non dairy egg products. Was able to enjoy treat along with group that eats ice cream! Excellent assortiment of different flavors. The cute shops meets the retro atmosphere and service was really quick and very friendly. We will be back

If you want the old ice cream shop feel, this is the place! It's so cute and quaint inside. They even have a fun candy case full of the fun candies we adults grew up on. It's a little pricier, but it is home made right there :) Definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area.

Great locally owned old-fashioned ice cream shop with 32 flavors, all homemade. They hire local teens and teach them about service and doing a great job. 2 of my kids had their first job at Scoop. It takes a little longer than "fast food" but it is worth the wait every time! We love it!

every time i go without fail the ice cream and service are on point. I love the old fashioned vibe of the environment and i would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes some good ice cream.
