We always try to get here when in town. We called ahead for perch dinners and they were just getting packaged when we walked in, perfect timing. Everything was wonderful, I personally like my fries a little more done, but that is me, everyone else liked as they were. Look forward to the next time we are in town so we can come back.

This is just a cute little shop. They have a good variety of fresh and frozen fish, spreads, smoked chubs, and all the stuff to go with it (tempura mix, tartar sauce, etc). They also have a case of fresh sides like fruit salad and potato salad. In addition, there's a menu of things to order. It's pretty much all fried, which is a bit of a bummer. There's stuff by the pound, dinners and sandwiches. When we were here, I got a pike sandwich with fries, and my partner got a krab cake sandwich with fries, with a few cans of pop. Both sandwiches came with a slice of cheese, lettuce, and tartar sauce. The sandwiches were both perfectly fine. Simple, but good. Like a Filet-o-fish but fresher tasting. The not-crab meat is a bit disappointing but you know what you're in for when you see it's spelled with a "k". The fries were super good though, hot, crispy, salty with a good dash of seasoning.There's no seating, it's very much a take away/shop combo. I wouldn't go running to this place immediately, but if you like fish this place is worth checking out.

If you like things deep fried this is the place. Had the clam strips which were ok. Also had the fish n chips. Good for the price. I'll go back again.

Stopped here on our way to Elkhart lake. Excellent food!! Smoked salmon and crab cakes were what husband and I got. They hit the spot!

This is a classic, charming little fish market. They have a nice selection of seafood and freshwater fish, fresh and smoked and frozen and cured. They also sell side dishes and seasonings and batter mixes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even with a full shop on Christmas Eve day.I bought a nice piece of smoked trout for a great price here.

Great perch on Friday. You can purchase it by the piece. It's made fresh and hot. I also enjoy the French fries and creamy coke slaw. I wish they stayed open later on Friday evenings, as it is difficult to get there by 7:30 sometimes. They are open till 8:00 but I feel imposing walking after 7:30 to ask for fish.They place is pick up only and is tucked away behind the liquor store. It's a icon and well known for good fish. I have always had great food here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions and it appears they have good smoked fish according to other reviewers but stay away from the fried fish and shrimp dinners because I spent over $20 for the two dinners I ordered and had to stop somewhere else for food on the way home. The fish batter had no flavoring at all and the fish was very greasy. Wife couldn't finish a single piece. The shrimp dinner was worse... no flavor and super soggy and there were still shells on the ones we did try. Both came with french fries which were equally as bad , too soggy and no flavor. The coleslaw was the only part we could eat...everything else hit the garbage a block away.

The food and service is excellent. Had fresh perch shipped from Sheboygan to Spring Hill very good.

The best catfish takeout I can find always liked their variety of frozen seafood including their lobster which I have given as gifts through the years to friends and family I WOULD also like to thank them for their joyful service in all holiday work with their customers

We have had delicious fish and sides over the years at this old-time fish market. It is worth a stop if in the area, or make it a destination along with the nearby scenic spots along the Sheboygan River.However, recently we had an experience in which the preordered smoked whole salmon was extremely dry and salty. After contacting the shop, it was explained to us the process and why the fish was not what we expected. The staff immediately addressed the situation and offered a smoked trout in its place. A big thank you shout out to them for being so professional and educating us on fish smokingand types of fish for our purposes. Are you hungry?
