I was there on a Saturday on October. The place was lively. There were a ton of activities, especially for kids. Entree fee includes 2 apple cannon shots. There was hay ride, a kids train ride, corn pit etc. Couple of times a day there was candy canon, where they shoot candies to the people. Apple caramal apple slushie was my favorite food here. It comes with a caramal apple and a cider donut on top of slushie. Hot cider and pumpkin cake were good. There was pumpkin picking in the middle of hay ride. I picked a small pumpkin. Price was reasonable. People were picking huge pumpkins and in larger numbers.

I had SO much fun at Schuster's!! We came for Blooms on the Farm but really were surprised with all the fun little activities throughout the rest of the farm. You can wander around and find fun games, photo ops, and great food. The farm animals of course were adorable. I thought the entry ticket and flower ticket were very affordable for the abundance of beautiful zinneas we picked, access to fun yard games, and super kind staff. Highly recommend holding a baby goat if you can!! We also enjoyed corn hole, the "corn pit", kids playsets, and the jump pads. This is a great place to be summer or fall and there is something fun for everyone!! Worth the short drive from Madison for sure

The Haunted Forest at Schuster's Farm- takes place between the end of September and all of October. I absolutely love visiting during Fall because of the creepy 45 minute walk you take through the haunted forest. The actors do a fantastic job at "staying true to character" and the props are awesome! Really fun place to visit with a group. They also have a corn maze that is awesome too! I suggest visiting Schuster's during the day to do the corn maze, then going on your walk then revisiting the corn maze at night. Even though the Haunted Forest attraction is only 45'minutes I think it's best to arrive a couple hours earlier than your scheduled time to visit the corn maze, take photos, and of course visit the bakery! Great food, live music, alcoholic libations, scary mazes and don't forget about the spooky walk! 10/10 for best Midwest attraction.

This fills my fall vibes to the fullest. What more could you want besides hot apple cider, apple cider donuts, corn mazes, pumpkins and gourds of all variety and plenty of activities! I'd say the atmosphere for activities definitely gears towards children. We got apple cider donuts that were so fresh and crispy. Not overly sweet. You could hear the subtle crunch. Perfection. It was chilly so waiting in line for the hot apple cider was worth it. Also, I was so clumsy, I dropped my bag of six donuts as I was at the counter and they replaced them for free. Highly recommend. And if you don't even want to come for the activities... and just the donuts...you don't even need to pay to enter.

We have been going to Schuster's for 15 years and every year we are met with fun new activities and surprises! Our kids are now older but still enjoy all the fun barnyard activities ("Curtain Chaos" is a forever favorite!) and the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. The bakery items are always delicious, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Pro tips we have learned over the years...buy your tickets online so you don't have to wait in line and save a little money, on beautiful fall days, get there early or it is packed, and finally - if you are a busy family who can't make until the last possible day, they will let you demolish pumpkins with baseball bats - which is actually a lot harder than you would guess! We suggest Schuster's to all our friends and never had a bad experience!

Amazing farm! One of my favorites!However....... I spent an hour and a half driving to get there for a second visit only to find the farm was closed. Let me explain... on the website it said open 9-10pm, wrong. I go there ask two employees where to purchase tickets because the farm has a million people there but no ticket booths, noted where they were my first visit. They tell me "the backyard closes at 6pm" apparently they call the farm the "backyard". The website does say the "backyard and animals close at 6" however I never would have known they call the whole farm, activities, food etc "the back yard".I expressed disappointment and the confusion and they basically said "sorry about that".The only option was some bakery items, I could buy pumpkins and or wait until the evening (a few hours longer) for haunted forest or corn maze.I was super disappointed and I wish they could be more clear on the website. Thankfully I didn't have my son with me because that would have been such a waste of 3 hours of driving for no farm experience.Willing to try again but the verbiage is not clear at all.

Schuster's Farm is such a fun place to visit in the fall. Schuster's have corn mazes, hayrides, pumpkins, apple cider, donuts, haunted attractions, pumpkin cannons, farm animals and much more! They have two great corn mazes; a large one that has two phases and a "small maze". They are both really fun and well kept up. They have a hayride during the day you can take to go pick pumpkins as well as a haunted one at night. There's a family fun option that includes the park, hayride, and more! I don't have kids yet so I haven't tried that option yet. Schuster's is a great place to spend a fall day and has so much to do. They have a large parking lot with plenty of spots, great prices, and an easily accessible location. Go check it out!

Schuster's is a great place to go! We had a very large party and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful to get everyone where they needed to go. On top of that, the desserts were amazing and felt like a great price. I highly recommend checking it out for a fall activity!
