Local grocery store for the parks in the north end of town. Formerly known as Logli. General all-purpose grocery store that is a nice neighborhood fit compared to the mega stores. Comparable produce, meats, non-perishables, and frozen departments.Pros-Generally speaking this place will have what you need-This location features a deli, bakery and a pizza parlor that you can order take out-Pharmacy available-Frozen food section has been modernized in 2016-A good size fit if you don't feel like navigating a Meier, Woodmans, Super Walmart, or Sams-Location also features an Alpine Bank, ATM, and Great Clips inside the store-I do believe delivery service is available-One of the better liquor departments I've seen in my dayCons-Schnucks has a reputation of being a more expensive option. I've never noticed a huge difference. Laundry detergent is expensive no matter where I go-Being a medium sized store, brand selections will be more limited and produce is more subject to seasonal changes-Restrooms could use an update. Not the most important item in a grocery store, but felt like mentioning it.Bottom line: Schnucks is a good reliable store. Not the greatest in any one category, but it is efficient, clean, and service meets expectations. Average, but competent.

I used to shop at the Schnuck's on Rockton Ave. because I live near there, but they closed it. I now drive across town to the branch on Harlem Rd. It is a much cleaner/nicer store than they had on Rockton. The only reason I make the drive is because I have the gas card that gives me .10 cents off per gallon for every 100 dollars I spend at the store. Now I hear they are stopping the gas card, just when the state is starting to impose a huge gas tax hike. I guess I'll be taking my business just up the street to Wal Mart since I have no more incentive to go to Schnuck's. Besides, Schnuck's was going downhill fast. Constantly discontinuing items I purchase on a regular basis and forcing me to buy other, more expensive brands or just not keeping items stocked. Baggers that have such bad body odor you have to hold your nose to get through the checkout and fear people behind you think it's you. The deli not keeping the meat slicers clean and when you get your meat home you have to pick-off bits of old mystery meat that was left on the slicer and sticks to your order. They should be wiped after each use. That's very unsanitary to have old stale meat sitting there for hours and contaminating other orders. But, no more gas card, no more incentive to drive across town.

Logli has been bought out by Schnucks, but I still call it Logli. The meat/deli is great! Prices are higher than other places. The donuts are decent. The little cafe inside is ok also. My wife and I have had the salad bar on a couple occasions and it's good .. but pricey!

Seems like they're continuing to make renovations to this place to get it to be a little more user-friendly (i.e. the layout of the produce section was recently altered to put similar stuff in the same area). Prices are okay...definitely higher than Woodman's, but I've been happy with the quality of food when I've purchased from the meat/seafood counter. Customer service is usually pretty solid, with the cashiers and baggers being friendly...but not too chatty.

Today was the last sale day for the $5 meat special that has an orange dot on it. "Luckily I had looked over the items that were included. So I'm looking forward not to find out many of the items had the orange sticker removed. Very frustrating. It's like they don't want you to shop there.

I generally never have a great experience at this store, but my last experience was absolutely horrible!Regular checkouts were backed up by 12 people.Self checkouts were backed up by 4 people. One self checkout was out of service. Two of cash self checkouts were having troubles accepting cash.No sense of urgency by the employees. One bigger male with walkie talky, possibly a manager, wearing shorts and flipflops walking around like he was just watching the clock. Not a care in the world. It's time to stop wearing all the politically motivated shirts expressing the Stores Political Views. I don't feel it's the employees place to preach to me about equality. I will only use this store in case of emergency and I will drive further to patronize another store.

I will never shop at Schnucks again. If shouting at customers is the norm, this place is the worst, most unprofessional location and deserves absolutely zero business. It will certainly receive ZERO business from any of my family in the area going forward as they were able to listen in as we were on a call while this happened. Schnucks should care more what the locals think of it and others should strongly consider taking their business elsewhere with better service. Aggressive rudeness is absolutely uncalled for. It's not like there aren't plenty of other options that have better selection.

Went to Schnuck's on Black Friday late afternoon and was very frustrated with the service as usual. Only 4 checkout lines available (one was express checkout for 12 items or less). Waited in line for 20 minutes although there was only 16-20 people checking out. Each cashier had to scan groceries and bag them as there was only 1 bag boy. I asked to see the manager but she was busy helping a customer make a photocopy at the service desk. The Logli family would have never allowed this to happen. Regardless of how busy they were, there would always be one bagger to each cashier. Now Schnuck's has scaled customer service down to bare minimum all while raising prices and offering significantly less brands. With the supermarket selections in the Rockford area becoming vast, I don't know how this chain of stores will survive. I will drive out of my way to shop elsewhere. That's a shame because I have been a loyal customer for decades.
