Sauce N Toss

Stopped in for lunch while in downtown Fox Lake. Plenty of parking on the street out front. This place cooks all the food to order, so best to order ahead and arrive when your food is ready. The place looks fairly new, clean, and has a gaming room attached. Ordered the 12 wing original combo, with lemon pepper and moonshine bbq sauce, veggie sticks, and an order of full sweet corn.The wings were meaty and delicious, and the sauces were great. Recommend the moonshine bbq, as it's a little sweet and smokey, The veggie sticks were generous and fresh (unlike that "other" wing chain). The real surprise was the "full sweet corn", which is kind of Mexican street corn.

Good to see a new place in Fox Lake (and yet another in this location). Good to have wings here. Tried it on a nice Saturday night and only a couple of customers there.Entire floor was sticky as though it had been mopped with spilled soda water. Wings, tenders, and calamari were good, but seemed from from frozen. Good sauce selection, although out of a couple. Fries not very crispy. Celery had been frozen and thawed. Let them know when asked and replaced with carrots the same. Counter guy wanted to argue the condition, when asking for feedback. Not cool.

We are always hoping for a great new restaurant and Sauce N Toss was very disappointing. The Leg and Thigh in a bucket was very poorly prepared. The chicken skin was inedible and the chicken had a funny greasy taste. The fries were overdone. The wings were mediocre. Again maybe the grease they were fried in. The sauces were good and masked some of the greasy taste. What a shame.

Great new place in town. Super friendly, great food. Fried pickles and wings. Mmm, good. We will be back indeed. Support local support small business. Best to the team at Sauce & Toss.

I recently stopped by and the guy that took care of me couldn't greet me.... out of nowhere asked if I was gay or a girl why was I wearing pink shoes, my pink Crocs. Made me feel sexually harassed in the way. Then he couldn't hand me the food he made me grab it from the counter.I will never be back. I will not support this local business very unprofessional.The owners name or employee started with B

My wife and I ate here last night for the first time. We just had wings and fries. The wings were very good. It takes about 15 minutes for your food and it came very hot (temperature) so I like knowing they aren't sitting in back under a food warmer! I had hot sauce and my wife had spicy barbecue (which isn't very spicy but she asked that question and was assured it wasn't very hot). Both sauces were very good! We were the only two in there last night (about 7:30) until about 8 when a family and a few other couples came in to eat. Seemed busier for carry out but it was very clean with plenty of seating. There is also a full bar in the gambling room that is attached (and very nice!). We will definitely be back.
