10/10. Wow. This is the second time I've been here. The first was with my grandparents who prefer bland and overprocessed food, so the food was fantastic but the company was not. The gnocchi was amazing and the pizza was equally as great. Literally perfection. Fresh, meticulously sourced ingredients and happy, helpful service. I love that the front of house uniform is anything they want to wear but all black. It makes everyone look put together and nobody is squeezing in an uniform that doesn't flatter them. A different server was happy to help fill up my drink and yet another different server noticed our pizza was up and delivered it to our table. Our server, Sydney, was attentive enough as it was and the whole crew made the experience better. Sitting at the pizza bar was amazing. Watching the guys at work was interesting and entertaining, but not loud or distracting. The lighting, music, temperature, and hostess rounded out this 10/10 experience. Whoever owns and manages this place needs to teach other restaurants how to do business. Again, wow. Will definitely come back.

There are no words to describe how forking delicious the food is and how stellar the service is here.Haven't been to Italy? Come here, order a Margherita D.O.C pizza (with extra basil), close your eyes and think about Rome. You'll feel like you're there. The atmosphere is like...warm, rustic but bright and clean? Not totally sure how to describe it but it's very nice! lol It has exposed brick walls and wooden rafters and stuff. And the staff?! They're attentive and kind and consistent! It doesn't matter who makes your drink. Watching them work is like watching a well-oiled machine. They communicate really well and are ninja fast! I got the Italian sunset and the hubs got a limoncello martini and both were phenomenal. We also had the polpetti and Burrata. I didn't get pics bc we devoured them. Try the polpetti with the Burrata and you will not regret it! We will be coming here EVERY flippin' time we're here. Every time. But will make a reservation. We didn't but they were super accommodating.

Decided to finally visit san giorgio and i am so glad i did! We ordered the bruschetta and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The bread was very soft and the tomatoes and cheese were incredibly fresh! Olive oil was little heavy though. So on to the main course.. Pizza! We opted to order the funghi pizza. We were seated at the bar right in front of the pizza oven where the magic happens! It was impressive. The pizza was done rather quickly. Pizza crust was delicious however i must say i was disappointed with how extremely soggy the middle of the pizza was. Literally had to eat the entire pizza with a fork to pick up the soggy center. It was too wet. I am still giving this a 5 star because waitress was very friendly along with the pizza makers behind the glass. You can tell how they work very hard back there making all these fresh pizzas to order. I would go back again to try a different pizza.

Lots of ingenuity in this bright, white, European-style pizzeria. Kudos to the Calderone Club owners for creating this neighbor with its interesting menu. Wait staff is very friendly. Pride in the product is clear. However, although never having had a pizza in Naples, what we got was puzzling. The center of the pizza was very thin (not a problem), but the oil splashed on it before baking seems to have created a slushy, rubbery center-- impossible to lift and eat and very difficult to cut. Taking half of it home and putting it in the oven for 500 degrees for a couple of minutes crisped it up nicely. If the slushy rubbery version is the real Neapolitan thing, this was our last visit. If this one was a failure, now somebody knows!

In town for a business conference across the street, I was pleasantly surprised that the closest food turned out to be not only good but have a bit of a vibe too. Opting to dine alone for a "break" from talking, thinking, and socializing, I entered San Giorgio Pizzeria Napoletana solo on an autumn weeknight. I told the cheerful hostess it was just me and asked if a bar seat would do. She said there is a bar and also a pizza bar. Had never heard of pizza bar and so opted for that. While I have a woodfire oven pizza place in my neighborhood that I frequent, it does not have seating around the fire. My place missing out on an opportunity! At San Giorgio Pizzeria there is seating by the fire! Dine in the semi circle as part of a dozen patrons around the oven and the chefs prep area (with window separation). I was thoroughly entertained and educated. The head chef had two sous chefs operating with him this night. They turned out three pizzas every two minutes and by my math must turn out 1000 a night, between dine in and carry out. The same careful preparation to the dough was done to each and every pizza. I could go on and on. I will just say the bit of heat emanating over the window warmed me physically and that pizza was being made as an art warmed my soul. This is why some of the fast food style pizza chains are dying off. Why get junk when you can get something custom crafted with fresh ingredients made by hand?Service was top notch as well.I took one star off due to the mushroom and sausage on the salsicia (my neopolitan style pizza go to ) being so thick/large/heavy that the dough under it was under cooked and the toppings not hot/crisp. My local spot cuts these very thin and they feel and look done. The other way to view it is San Giorgio is thorough with toppings - the entire 'za was covered - so a fair trade off.

Get there early if you don't have reservations! We walked in right at open knowing that we wanted to sit at the bar! The bartender was new and was FANTASTIC! she checked up on us throughout and made our time wonderful. The pizza is always superb. Drinks are refreshing, and salads are basic yet so delicious - one of my favorite Caesar's in the city! Do yourself a favor and stop by. We ended the meal with a pistachio cake that was the star of the meal.

This place is almost perfect - I enjoyed all the food that I ate here, but ultimately felt that somehow the crust gets soggy in the center and makes it harder to eat the pizza. I had to fold my pizza in order for the toppings to not fall off. Though, I will say the crust was VERY good - thin, soft, and carries a sourdough-like flavor (not as sour but it definitely isn't just plain bread if you get what I'm trying to say). This is also more of a personal preference but I'm used to there being more cheese on the pizza. Is that authentic? Probably not - but again, personal preference. The pizzas are personal size and are cut into 4 slices. Service was great! Pizzas come out fast (they're only in the oven for 90 seconds!), the interior is clean, but seating is a bit limited. Mostly smaller tables and it was very busy when I dropped in on a Saturday night. Pizzas are also pretty pricey, average price I'd say is about $20-22/pie.

My friend and I have been wanting to come here and San Giorgio did NOT disappoint! We called before an Admirals game to see if there was seating, and even though they were fully booked, they were able to get us a spot right in front of the pizza oven. It was awesome watching them make the pizzas right in front of us. Special shoutout to those chefs and the hostesses for your service, will be back for sure.
