Sammy's Place

Stopped in for brunch. As soon as you walked through the door it smelled fabulous. Brunch buffet is an amazing value at 9.95. If you like Greek food Sammy's is outstanding. The usual plus Mousakka etc. All fresh and good. My friend got a spinach omelette that was incredible. Add to all this a very friendly staff and owner and this place is a major winner. Look forward to coming back for dinner!Thank you, Sammy's!

Homemade Greek food was excellent and portions very generous. Our waitress, Lisa, was as sweet as can be, patient and helpful with my Mom who has some dietary restrictions. Yes, it's a bit dated as per previous reviews but it's a small town gem ----great food and service. They also have a dog friendly patio. Very grateful for these unique places.

Very very pleased! Best gyros I've had in years! Kitschy old supper club type atmosphere, and very polite and friendly staff. We'll be back for sure!

When you walk in, you smell mold, its dark and dated. We were the only ones there at 12:30 for lunch on a Saturday. I should have known then, there's a reason for it. I ordered the Gyro sandwich cooked crispy. Did not comply. It also tasted old. The salad table lettuce was fresh looking. The server Levi was excellent. The chicken parmesan my son-in-law had was over cooked chicken and pasta. My daughter had the Spanikopita and she liked it. My husband had a greek salad and his was okay also.

Not many options for Sunday brunch buffets around Fort Atkinson, but Sammy's is quite delicious. The all of the regular breakfast foods cooked well, but the special items are excellent. I've been there five times now and each time there were different dishes. Always good.

Coming from Chicago we miss things like Greek town. Well right here in fort we were surprised how good the food was from the saganaki to the gyro very good and authentic .

Excellent food. Service. Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend this place for dinner.

We saw their Facebook post of authentic Greek food. Huge disappointment.. In their Facebook post they said they do flaming saganaki nope it's melted and burnt. The server was not trained and had no idea what she was doing. The building is in bad shape it still smells like cigarettes. Drinks were so so place not good

Super solid good food at good prices. Been a few times and was very happy with all of my food. The fish is incredibly fresh and tastes great. The side dishes (like the oven roasted potatoes) and soups are very tasty and homemade. The bagged iceberg lettuce on the salad bar doesn't look awesome, but the bar is well stocked with other fresh veggies. They also supply nice oils and vinegars, which is a great. You can tell that they really care about the food, which is really nice to see. It's not a terribly attractive place, in that it is kitchy and showing some wear. (The bar is one exception - a really big U and big cushy chairs.) But get over it! The food is outstanding, the staff is great, and the prices are great. I wouldn't change a thing.

My son and daughter and I stopped by late evening on a Wednesday - not familiar with the area - and didn't know what to expect.... my son had the chicken special (1/2 chicken, salad bar and rice) for only $8.95!! He loved it! I had the tenderloin - and my daughter had the noodles on the kids menu... our server Autumn was excellent - very attentive - personable - and sealed the deal for our return trip! The prices were amazing and the food even better!! A little jewel on the side of the road outside of Fort Atkinson.
