Salvatore's Tomato Pies

Always good pizza, the Woodsman is on of the best. Caesar salad is good the Parmesan crisps are a nice treat. It would be nice if there were some vegetarian options for sandwiches. Service was good. Warm and fun atmosphere, but always loud and hard to have a conversation.

Delicious food and great happy hour deals. Stopped in around 4pm and it wasn't too busy. Many more people started rolling in after. The restaurant is clean and has quirky little design details - from the lights to the cabinet front wall. Staff was also very accommodating and ready to help navigate the menu. We shared the meatball appetizer which was great. Thick meatballs but not too heavy or greasy. The sourdough bread was an unexpected highlight and perfect for scooping up every drop of sauce. The happy hour deal gives $5 off of 10" pies (a great deal), so we ordered the vegan supreme. The crust was crisp enough to hold the toppings while still being sod and foldable. The veggies were fresh and flavorful, and all sat on just the right amount of sauce. The vegan cheese was super creamy and tied it all together. Will certain be back to try more items!

We've been here twice now in this location and are thoroughly impressed, The Bar tender / manager really knows how to make excellent cocktails and was friendly and knowledgeable. The pizza and Caesar salad were excellent and the service was great. For us it's all about the sauce and it's perfect. Not salty and robust in flavor. The dining room and bar area is small but roomy enough and comfortable. There is street parking and a free lot on the back side of the building. A great place for pizza and a nice lunch menu as well. Give it shot if in the area.

I stopped by during restaurant week, and every dish was a hit. Got the warm olives with fennel and orange and grilled bread, which was a very flavorful and comforting starter. Then had the gnocchi for a main - the chili crisp and micro greens were the perfect touch. And then finished with a cannoli. Excellent. Thanks so much. Also saw on the menu that there are some happy hour specials, so will be back to check that out and try one of their pizzas.

Great place! The tables make it difficult for large parties. Our server was amazing but some of the other staff was odd.Had a NYE dinner with 6 adults and 2 kids. We ordered pizza and brussel sprouts. Not a bad thing to say about any of the food! We had the Farmer John's, Figgy Piggy, Terrance's Favorite and a sausage. All were so delicious. The flavors came together well in each pizza. I loved the combinations of sweet and savory on the Figgy Piggy. My favorite was Farmer John's. Wish I had tried the pasta, but the pizza was too good!

I've heard good things about this place and finally tried it. Went to the one located in downtown Sun Prairie. It's cute and cozy. Everything we got was yummy. We tried the Burrata Brushetta - the spicy honey drizzle was the perfect touch, the fried calamari was also tasty and the marinara sauce complemented it went. The woodsman pie full of mushrooms adding the goat cheese was so good. I usually only have 1 slice of pizza but I had 3. For drinks I had two rounds of the No 1 (something) it had bourbon and honey. It had a good smoky taste. Oh the only thing I didn't care for was the wings (forgot to take a picture) we got wings with the blueberry haberno sauce on the side. The wings were very bland and I expected the blueberry haberno sauce to be better but there was no kick of spicy just the sweet blueberry. Overall all the pies sounded good and I would go back to try more.

Food from here is always consistently amazing. Their pizza is delicious, but you won't be disappointed if you want to venture away from their signature dish (pizza) and try something else on the menu! Definitely try this place out!

Amazing bartenders, best pizza in Dane County. Great atmosphere and service. We will back again for sure! .

First time at their Sun Prairie location. Ordered 2 pizzas/"pies" online for pickup in about 2 hours. Arrived there about 20 min. after pickup time. Was told that they never received my order. Re-ordered and they were ready in ~ 15:00. Pies were exceedingly thin. Not much on them except the bare minimum it seemed. Nothing like Pizza Pit or Glass Nickel who offer a healthy version of a pizza! I'll try the SP location but a different pizza next time. The employees were super nice and friendly and the interior ambience looked spiffy! On that basis I figure they deserve one more shot.

i ordered soup online. No size listed but $9 seemed to be OK for a bowl with crackers or bread. The soup was Squash soup and it was good. Nothing special. No bread, no crackers and the size was 8oz. I was in a group of 6 people and every one was surprised at the poor value! Local restaurants often sell bowl size soup for $6 to $8.50 but not the 8 oz for $9!I think people should be aware of this Overpricing! Seeing a trend?
