Salchert Meats

I've been going here for over 30 years and have never had a bad experience! Steak sandwiches go right from the freezer to the grill or the frying pan and are a specialty. They will cut your steaks fresh to order and always have fresh meat, steaks, ribs, chops, roasts, brats and it's excellent! ALLL the counter people are always friendly and very helpful. Love the place!

When our kids come home they look forward to Salchert's Meats and often time take some of the hot sticks and jerky back home with them. Their sulze is excellent as is their shoulder bacon. They did an excellent job adapting to social distancing and safety precautions during covid-19 and present. Not only is their product good but they are a very friendly and welcoming market. For those interested, there is also some very good goat cheese available there. I highly recommend this meat market.

This place SUCKS! I am po'd every time I open a new item in my freezer! The cuts are awful and just do not make sense. The N.Y. is a size of a fork and the short ribs just look at the pics. Shameful this business is open. I cannot believe the money they took for this job! We paid for the tons of FAT they had on this job. If it was not for that issue they would have charged us 50.00 for the meat weight. I not express how upset this place has me!!!!!!

Best summer sausage ever. Brats, ground beef, natural casing wieners and anything else you would want to grill. Small town shop that has been doing it the right way for generations. My father grew up in St. Cloud and every time we go back we fill a cooler to bring some Salchert goodness back to NC with us!
