Salamone's Cherry Valley

Tried this AWESOME restaurant on New Year's Eve with some great friends--what a surprisingly incredible experience! I don't often give a 5-star rating unless I'm truly impressed by absolutely everything!! The food was extraordinary and prepared perfectly! The commercials you see on television about how "we treat you like family" simply couldn't be more accurate! This is truly a rare gem of a place that you just MUST experience for yourself...

Been here a few times with some friends now! Service has always been solid, although it is pretty popular so on some busy nights you will have a wait if you don't have a reservation. Food wise I've liked basically everything I've got off the menu. This time I had the lasagna which was pretty good! Haven't really delved into the dessert as I've been too full usually but I did have a few bites of the tiramisu last time and my friends and I all enjoyed! Overall very solid restaurant and I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Here is near our home in old hometown what we missed while we were away. This is it, this is what we are looking for as we travel about. Sicilian flare in the Italian Restaurants. The Best!You know my reviews are hardly necessary. You natives who live in this wonderful hometown, yes you already know what's number one and best.This review is for those of us traveling through who need to go where the service is awesome.The food is relational to our hometowns. Most of all where the feeling of at home satisfies you. Enjoy.

First time here. Brought my oldest and two of the littles. Started off with the cheese breadsticks. Delish!!! Perfectly crisp on the outside with gooey mozzarella on the inside.Plenty of options for the littles. One had the chicken Alfredo and the other had a mini pizza. It was legit all gone!!I had the lasagna. Sauce was not too sweet and seasoned well. Portion size was enough for a second meal next day!Nice little gem in the heart of Cherry Valley

Food was good! Prices have gone up. But that's everywhere. Service was good. Not exceptional. But that's OK for early saturday afternoon. Had to help ourselves a bit for a few things

Great pizza. We always have ordered out so, cannot say much about the service or the ambiance. Great food though!

Good ambience covering up for mediocre food. Service was very good.We both had the seafood pasta. Overcooked and nowhere near al dente. The seafood was not fresh and so unappetizing that the dish would have been better vegetarian.

I'm not against high prices, but a meal has to be worth the cost. Overall I'd rate this meal as meh. The stufged muchrooms tasted like store bought. The eggplant parm portion was huge, but the flavor was nothing special and the penne was overcooked, chewy and luke warm.The chicken parm sandwich (maybe 4-5 inches) with fries was just okay too, but again nothing that justified the price. Guess the high cost covers the fine decor and extra wait staff. I won't be back.

Good food, great service, updated and comfortable facilities, but the PRICES have skyrocketed, and now they have added an extra fee if you use a credit card! Two roast beef sandwiches, 1 salad and a cup of soup, two beers and and 1 ice tea--$62+! They even charged for an extra cup (small/plastic) of juice to dip the sandwich in! I have ave been a regular for decades, but can't afford the luxury of eating out there as much any more! Last time I was there they were packed, so prices will probably continue to rise!

We love Salamones, tgey have the best pizza, lasagna, chicken picatta and chicken marasala. Nice little place to meet up with friends or grab take out after a long work day.
