Rustic Inn

In short: New owner - Same name - Same GREAT food - Friendlier staffMy family has been going to The Rustic Inn for many years, going back to the 1990's in Milwaukee. They have always served great food - and plenty of it. Prices have also been reasonable. But it's been a couple years since I was there. We heard that Tom & Di had sold the business, and tonight we stopped in for a couple beers and an appetizer. Walking in, we didn't notice any real change, aside from the fact that Tommy wasn't seated in his usual spot. The most significant difference was that the bartenders/waitress were a lot more friendly than they were in years past, and they actually took the time to have a conversation with you.The menu didn't appear to have changed much, if at all, and the prices were still reasonable. And despite our best intention of ordering only an appetizer, when we saw someone with one of those famous pizzas, we couldn't help but order one for ourselves. As has always been the case, the pizza was excellent - plenty hot and heavy on the toppings.Very happy to see that The Rustic Inn has only gotten better!

Unfortunately, this place is closed and up for sale. It's really a shame because their food used to be at least adequate.

The food here is good but the prices are higher than restaurants in the area serving similar quality of food. I have eaten here several times and will return again. They have a wonderful staff and the owner visits with the patrons.

This place is just awesome!We stop in on Tuesday for the all you can eat broasted chicken and it is DELICIOUS!The price cannot be beat, like $8 all you can eat!Service is always friendly.I hear they have tons of fun for Packer Games.

We've been coming to this place since it was at Pike Lake. The place was awesome when it was Tommy & Di's. Ever since the new owner took over the place has gone totally down hill. We have given the new owner's many chances to get it together. The food is beyond terrible. They have no idea of how to run a restaurant. It was pathetic, I felt sorry for our waitress. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children on a Sunday early afternoon for lunch, it took 2 hours, wasn't very busy and was a real nightmare. The food was delivered piecemeal or as our waitress explained as the food came up, this was over a span of 15 minutes. The menu has been cut to less than half of what the previous owner's offered. Our meals were over cooked, not as ordered and tasteless. When I reached for the salt shaker it was so filthy I wanted to leave w/o eating. I have never left a bad review but this experience warrants a negative review. Without exaggerating we have been here more than 100 times. Needless to say we will never be back. I see why the new owner has it up for sale!!!

When this was Tom & Di's the food was great and the service and hospitality were fantastic. Now, with the new owners, take my advice!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! We went on a Saturday, 1:30 in the afternoon and had a completely horrible waitress named Brittany who was so rude and had no clue how to earn a tip. We waited over 22 minutes for her to arrive with our drinks. Even longer for our food all when there were FOUR tables in the entire restaurant. When I got up to find someone to just get water she attacked me saying, "what do you want"? Then she followed with "hey I'm all alone here and I love my job". I hope she's not hoping to earn enough money to live because she's going to starve. God forbid we went when it was busy! And the food may have been fair but with the rude service the meal was ruined. Again, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE! Take the drive to anywhere else to spend your money let alone your time.

Wow! What a terrible dining experience! I'm sure this is a great biker bar with good cold beer etc. but Never go if you are actually going to stay sober and eat! Wait person was not very attentive. Took 20 minutes to get our food and it was not busy. Order was wrong. Wait person appeared to get upset when I pointed out that the order was wrong.We didn't not touch one of the meals, they left it on our table the entire time. They did not offer to take it off the bill. They could tell it was a bad experience and did nothing. Very poor food quality, very poor service and finally very poor customer management when thing go wrong. Our first and last time here. Lake Country dining at its worst.

This is a great place! The burger is amazing and the service fast. It's a pretty popular place and for good reason. Don't listen to the negative reviews, they are not fair.

It's a great place to eat and have a drink. We enjoy the brosted chicken. It has become a family hangout place. The servers are always pleasant and friendly.

Attempted to have lunch with family after church one Sunday and the wait for food was more than an hour. I understand that the food need to be cooked but it was so long of a wait with no waitstaff service that I will jot be going back.
