Great food. Iris has consistently been the best bartender/server in the Waukesha area. We come back often because of the great service!

Stopped in sometime in Mid-September 2022. Walked into the bar a few minutes after they opened and grabbed a beer, while I waited for the wife as she shopped the near Hallmark store. The pics I posted shows that this probably can get hopping during game days and I am sure the hotel next door provides visitors to the bar as well. Their selection of liquor, wine and beer - both on tap and bottled/canned offers something for your thirsty pallet. The bar also serves food from a shared kitchen, but you cannot get breakfast, they should change this, especially on the weekend! Anyway, from a bar patron and the bartender, they both raved about the fried chicken. We are going to have to check this out when I do not mind driving 35 to 45 minutes for fried chicken. Overall it was a nice place to grab a beer, looking forward to the fried chicken.

To the yelper scumbags, I disagree with all that you say. This establishment has fantastic management. Service from all bartenders has and continues to be outstanding. Food comes quick. (no it's not a five star were you are going to get your duck with raspberry glaze) but solid food every time. I travel for a living. Worked in all fifty states. This is on my list of places to return to again and again. Thank you ROX!

Good food: I like the chicken gyro, in the past hamburgers have been good and tonight I had a tackle which was good except the flour tortilla was a little small.Good beer: a selection of craft beers ... cause you're old.Happy hours: featuring some of said good beers, cheap.Live music: because you were sick of that Justin Bieber song. Nice atmosphere! What's not to like? The other Yelp reviews.

I've been here a few times and have been underwhelmed by the food each time. Tonight, my onion rings were overdone, and the Texas burger was lackluster with a pre-made patty and floppy bacon. The BBQ sauce on it was plentiful, though, which helped a little. The person I was with also had overbooked fries and was not impressed by the ribs he had. This is a good place to go to if you are looking to have a drink or two while watching a game on their TVs. They have an impressive, long list of available drinks to choose from. It has a great atmosphere for that, but their food is nothing to write home to mom about.

Nice enough staff, but ambiance is cold. People hanging around the place were old timers, as exhibited by the type of live music playing. Not my kind of place, but could be the ideal hangout for older bar flys.

After having supporting this establishment for years, I had a significant issue with the owner Dino this evening. We (two local area church's) reserved Rox tonight back in Late October 2023 to do a "Beer and Hymns" event. Basically drinking and singing, eating and singing. I am the director of music, and the other gentlemen is the associate Pastor. We met there and discussed this with DINO AND his staff (Rosa) back in Sept 27th, 2023.It was an outing, not intended to push or force a religion. It was meant to be a fun, laid back outreach event which did include singing and drinking, patronizing a local family owned restaurant who had both stage lighting and a sound system for us to use., that would be quite busy and make $$$ for them ordering food.It was planned months ahead with Live music, guitar, piano... and singing. We needed the stage. I have texts proving of our initial communication and requests. He agreed to this.Upon arrival, the stage area was pre occupied with other sound equipment that was of another artists. When I saw this, I was frustrated, never once swore or raised my voice.... But I was direct with both the bartender and the owners wife of my frustration. We had lots of members coming which were going to spend money on both food and drinks at the restaurant . Clearly there was no intention for us to be using the stage space tonight. When the bartender came to me, I stated we were suppose to use this space tonight. What is going on??The wife of the owner then came and also said Dino is coming. It was clear that I was frustrated and said to her "this is not right"The owner Dino showed up and came at me outside very aggressive towards me, raised his voice, and was at a yelling volume. He claims he didn't hear the "beer and hymns"part and wanted nothing to do with some kind of Christian music. He made it very clear he was Non denominational. He refused to let us play/ sing in the space as we had originally reserved and he originally agreed. He Just thought we were coming to hang out, drink and eat. But the event is called "Beer and Hymns", as it had been stated, marketed, and clearly communicated with from the very beginning. His niece "Rosa" who is an awesome bartender... avoided me like the plague. He also went on to say that I was very rude to his bartender and wife.I was direct, not rude, and never raised my voice or swore or insulted anyone. I expressed frustration at a conversation level volume due to the amount of people coming to patronize their bar from two local churches. As I had to pack up the equipment we already brought in and communicate as best possible via Facebook and message groups to our Church's about the event being cancelled... Dino the owner kept coming after me both inside and outside while I was moving my equipment and demanding I look him in the face to talk. II kept saying this was a *BEER AND HYMNS. Drinking and eating event, singing some Christian based tunes as several of us came to Rosa about on Sept 27th, and I followed up with multiple texts of communication. Clearly he did not listen to me. He also will not admit he screwed up.No matter this situation, Dino was unnecessarily aggressive and handled this poorly. He made a number of allegations at me, and also talked to my partner about this situation... which he was just with me to have fun and was Not Incolved with any of the planning.Dino and family does not deserve your business unless Dino steps away from the Business. The way I was attacked was completely unacceptable, and there were others from BOTH our church's who witnessed this tonight. There is no reason to support this family owners buisness. He had no reason to be as aggressive to me as he was. I just stopped talking to him while packing my equipment. There was nothing to say when your being verbally attacked. Please DONT patronize them!
