Round1 Bowling & Arcade - Greendale

This place is bad! 35 minutes into an hour reserved lane, our lane seized up four times and service had to be called. $40 for terrible service.

Loved this place! I have sisters who love anime and we love going to arcades because of the prizes and the fun. My favorite part of Round1 is that it has its roots in Japan meaning a ton of their games are Japanese and the prizes (think claw machine plushes) are AMUSE brand plushes that are licensed in Japan like Rilakkuma, Mameshiba, and other adorable kawaii toys. The employees were all very friendly and the presence of security guards was known- there are tons of them everywhere. They all seemed super polite and we felt good there. They have a kitchen and bar (lots of bottled drinks) which are sold for a flat fee. Apparently you cannot tip on your card which I thought was weird. There is bowling, photobooths, arcade games, ticket games and claw machines. There is a prize station with everything from Rick and Morty Monopoly to longboards and even a Dyson purifier! They don't come easy and nice prizes are tens of thousands of tickets. I liked how the place was cleaner than other arcades I've been to. We won a bunch of plushes (spent a good amount of money so the cost per plush evened out). All in all a fun place!

Would be zero stars if was option. Came with a 3yo and 4yo. Got through 2 frames before "lane assistant" came up and said if 3yo does not put shoes on they will close the lane (3yo was not even playing but walked on to the floor). When we entered there was no lane assistant out on the floor until we say down (4 or 5 lanes were occupied). The assistant stood behind us the whole time. No other lanes being monitored. When I asked for a refund they refused. Manager was no help. And at the end employee called my wife the b word. Will neve go again. Be warned with small children.

Older Round1 but always a good time. Game are setup correctly and with a little skill are winnable. Wish this location was bigger and I would recommend this location over the Gurnee mills location.

The people that work behind the counter are extremely rude to their paying customers. I do not recommend this place and they need to train their staff on how to speak to their customers.

This is the worst PISS POOR service and establishment I've ever been to, lanes always lock up and we had someone's lock of weave to join us as well and when brought up they said no refunds, why the Fuck would I want credit to come back to this DUMP

I, 22, couldn't take my little sister, 17, in to the arcade at 8:30 pm because i'm not 25 and there's alcohol sold in the building. An arcade, with children's games and stuffed animals attached to the mall. Very odd and won't be returning.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I (20) have taken my brother (15) here for a few years cuz it used to be the best arcade around. They currently have a policy that nobody under 25 can bring someone under 18 in because they serve liquor in the back. So nobody under 21 is allowed in. Ruins the entire point of an arcade for kids. just ID people if they try to buy alcoho. Will never be returning.

My parents planned for us to go here today for our twenty first birthday. They paid 500 bucks for EVERYTHING. Food didn't come out until an hour later than it was supposed to. Had a few drinks but at one point when everyone wanted another one, we waited for 40 fucking minutes and nobody came. When my sister followed the manager and asked for some help, he threatened to call the cops on her????? MY FAMILY PAID MONEY FOR THIS. All the employees are fucktards, especially the ones behind the bar. Don't go here EVER, especially if you're buying drinks or having a party. I feel bad for my parents, hopefully they're getting their money back from this place. Hope it gets shut down.
