We seriously just had the best wine and food pairing ever at Rosewood, in Delavan.

The musical show was excellent...a series of 50s rock n roll well performed ; the food was overcooked and fairly tasteless. I'd go for the show and pass on the food.

What can I say about Rosewood In Delevan, WI.? "One of the most amazing venues we've ever been to". The food is so phenomenal even our grandson (18)) years old said "it's the best food I've ever had!" and he is so picky. Mark & Gretchen Hladish's performance in their theatre show was absolutely amazing. I'd give this place the highest rating available. We will go again and again!

We recently had our wedding at Rosewood and it was AMAZING! We had both the indoor and outdoor areas and our guests enjoyed all of the space - the outdoor patio with the cabana bar and the fireplaces was super chill and a perfect space for our guests to visit with each other. The food was FANTASTIC and we received so many compliments on the entire event. It was such a relief to know we had a back up space all ready to go if it rained (which it did, but the team at Rosewood was super flexible and we were able to make a last minute decision to keep the ceremony outdoors and the rain stayed away just long enough!). The floral team did such a BEAUTIFUL job on our flowers - they listened and brought our vision to life perfectly and under budget! Loved how the vendors were all in house - venue, DJ, floral and Food & beverage. It made things so much easier to organize and much less work for us!

Entertainment: 5 starsAmbiance: 5 starsFood: 2 starsWe traveled here with a group for lunch and a show on a weekday. Without our nav app, we would have driven right past this place (their signs seem to be invisible). A new owner has transformed what we're told was Millie's Pancake House into a brand new venue. The spacious dining area and cabaret are elegant, yet the soaring wood-beamed cathedral ceilings and stonework give the rooms a rustic flavor. The old Millie's shops are also being resurrected. The show - "Legends & Love Songs" - was tops, with marvelous vocals enhanced by superb sound and lighting systems. The backdrop was a large video screen showing images synced to the music. We did not applaud the lunch buffet. There were no regular dinner-size plates, only small ones. No bread or rolls. We stood in line 15 minutes for the carving and the made-to-order pasta stations. These were the only entrees offered. The pasta was very good but the bewildering array of ingredients to pick from slowed things down considerably. The selections were then cooked in dainty portions to fit on the small plates. The "roasted rare garlic crusted sirloin" was overcooked to barely edible dryness. The "roasted bourbon molasses glazed pork loin" suffered the same fate; it fell apart with minimal prodding from the carver. We would have gone back for seconds on the pasta were it not for the long wait.Cold salads and hot sides interspersed with each other were not labeled. The coleslaw, pasta, and various vegetable salads were identifiable and quite good. But there were some mystery foods. One which we assumed was rice pilaf turned out to be some sort of cold rice salad and was as dry as a sawdust soufflé. The REAL rice pilaf (in a covered chafing dish) was warmer but had no discernible flavor. Best of the desserts were chocolate chip cookies and apple strudel. Two kinds of cake were cut up into tiny, almost crumb-like morsels. One, with a layer of raspberry currant, was so salty it made me wince. Ramekins of dense chocolate mousse were arranged in such a way that diners mistook these for dessert topping (again, no labels). The personable and talented owners/hosts/entertainers have done wonders with this place. But methinks their kitchen staff could benefit from a "Buffets 101" refresher course.

We stopped here after getting to assembly park for our family vacation. We needed a quick bite a little later at night. We were there for "Sunset on the Patio". We missed the opening act but saw next person. Great music and the sound was awesome. For dinner my wife and I had the "Brazilian kabob with Mexican street corn". My wife had a reisling and I had a knob creek whiskey and coke. The meat on the kabob was tender and perfectly cooked. Veggies were perfectly al dente. The treat was the street corn. Roasted corn and seasoning was delicious. We hadn't planned on staying for the show but it was great. Later the owner gave us a tour of the future restaurant. This used to be "Millies pancake house" and my wife and I remember eating here in its heyday. After remodeling it's going to be a unique restaurant where you can see right into the kitchen and see the chef working. All in all a great night, food, music and venue for meals and wedding receptions or events.

I chaperoned a group of 27 to a lunch/show here on a weekday afternoon. The atmosphere was really great. I could easily see hosting a holiday party, reunion, shower or wedding here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the gift shop that's located inside Rosewood is really great. I typically don't buy from gift shops, but I found a couple of things worth purchasing. The bar area is stunning. We had lunch before our show. I appreciated the many different entree options, but the food was very mediocre. My entree came out lukewarm. The Christmas show was great. I was a little leery about a performance running 90 minutes, but the time flew by and my guests seemed to enjoy it. There are some other shops around the main building, but I didn't venture to check them out. Some of my guests said one of the two shops was closed. I was told that the shops unattached to Rosewood set their own hours, it would be nice if they were open when Rosewood had a big group of people coming in. I know my guests would have patronized the businesses and likely spent money had they been open. Nice parking lot and the venue is very clean; including the restrooms. You can't beat the warm and friendly staff!Would return.

We had a lovely time (group of 90) at the Rosewood. It was a delightful way to start the Christmas holiday season. The food choices at the buffet were excellent and ample. I highly suggest adding another pasta station to avoid the long wait time. As cleaver and delicious as the pasta stations were, the wait hindered the enjoyment and social aspects of the gathering! Off to the entertainment! We all enjoyed the holiday review by the talented trio. Mark, the lead, was extraordinary in his talent. Instrumentalists, arranger and director. His wife was very personable and her personality filled the room, however her head voice and intonation was a bit on the annoying side as she chewed her vowels making some words unintelligible. Keeping it pure will keep it pleasant for a return audience. This is not said to be harsh but hopefully critic for a better future. The venue is fabulous, the waitstaff is pleasant and food excellent. This tweak would make it a 5 star!

My wife and I attended the Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce annual awards dinner at Rosewood recently. We had an exceptionally tiny part in the property's history - having bought it an auction and sold it within six months to the current owners. The renovation of the property is nothing short of spectacular. Everything is first-class - from the flooring to the ceiling beams, light fixtures and ceiling fans, bathrooms, the bar area, dining spaces, as well as the sound and video equipment in the performance space. Top-quality in every respect. The food was outstanding. An appetizer station featured make-your-own beef and chicken fajitas. Dinner stations included salads, a carving station featuring beef and pork, a pasta station featuring a wide-variety of ingredients, skewered Haddock, hand-cut fries and potato pancakes, rice and many other items. After dinner we enjoyed a dessert station followed by a performance by Mark and Gretch featuring many popular hits of the 60's and beyond. They are very talented and put on a super show. The service throughout the evening was outgoing and professional. Great time and highly recommended.
