edit: we hung out in the location on their benches waiting for our order, and the venue is well-lit, spacious, clean, and had many families with all ages.in addition, there are new-gen digital slot machines as well as traditional crane games. there was also a third weird type of gambling game, where there were a nintendo switch and ipad mini hanging to entice people. whether or not it ever pays those out, does anybody know?/--------Ordered a lot (no pizza in this review)italian beef sandwich was GOOD. i like a good cheesesteak and this was among the better ones ive ever had.meatballs were decent. cheesed garlic bread from appearances alone seemed mid, but it was actually very "real" on the inside and perfectly toasted.last but not least was the ice cream-- this time was the Fat Elvis flavor (banana pb and chocolate).it is recommended by me to all who read this.I will probably come back for a za.

My boyfriend ate here "every day" in college and he and his best friend hold it in high regard. This is his standard for Italian beef sandwiches and it's his favorite fried ravioli. I hope he never reads this review, because I was unimpressed. I will give him that the fried ravioli was tasty; you also get a large serving for $7. It wasn't clear from the menu or ordering process that they dump your sauce of choice all over it, though - it got a little soggy by the time I was halfway through. The fried ravioli is considered an entree (ah, college kids) so you also get a small loaf of bread that seemed fresh-baked. Despite being a decent dish at a decent value, though, there are a couple of Madison spots that outrank it off the top of my head. Service was adequate but not exactly friendly - while waiting for my receipt the printer jammed. The kid went back to get a new roll and pulled out my crumpled receipt and then looked up to ask "do you need something?" I said I was just waiting for my receipt and he said "oh" and then walked away, chucking my crumpled receipt in the trash. *headdesk*Ambiance was also lacking - a weird smell permeated the restaurant and everything was run down. It definitely looked like things hadn't been updated since the 70s or 80s. We've all got our favorite college haunts so I can't begrudge my boyfriend's affections, but as a first-timer in my 30s I don't have any urge to go back.

My alma mater's got a lot of charm in the small, quaint town of whitewater.If you can overlook the dilapidated and decrepit/outdated decor, Rosa's Pizza offers a lot of good deals to hungry, penniless students of university of Wisconsin - Whitewater!For instance:One trip salad and soup bar. For around five bucks, you get one trip for salad and soup. The salad bar has a lot of side dishes including pastas and potato salad, but unfortunately lacks any sort of meat (including poultry) toppings. Take heed.Ordered a very unique soup called the "Buffalo soup." Very spicy, buffalo flavored soup with chicken. The broth almost tastes like a chicken flavored version of your run-of-mill buffalo sauce.5/5Salad was okay. Some of the veggie ingredients like the peas hadn't yet thawed out yet.3/5Total : 4/5

Best Pizza In whitewater. I order every saturday to my dorm. the same driver comes everytime and is very nice. This Pizza is great. It's crispy, and the toppings are great. The prices are unbeatable. I just Love Rosa's. I'm from chicago and rosa's is great for whitewater Pizza. Everyone must eat here.
