Good service mediocre food. We stopped in and got a sausage skillet and a vegetarian skillet.The food was quick and a decent amount. However it really wasn't all that good. It wasn't bad just blah. The service was really good: fast and friendly.

Strange hours , great breakfast. The last time I went in I was waiting to have my tires installed at a local shop and walked in. The waitresses blabbed too much and the chef cooks kept looking out of the kitchen window mean mugging and gawking at everyone in the dining room. Seemed weird.

I haven't eaten here in decades. No gripes, just not my scene. Then last week I got a craving for fried chicken. If lazy, I live near a kfc, so that's covered. Generally speaking, though, I either get Ferraro's on a Wednesday or Golden Chicken any other day of the week. On this particular day, however, I had a specific craving for the specific flavor of fried chicken that I thought I remembered coming from Rooster's. You ever have that? Last time, it turned out to be ice cream cake roll from the frozen section.Anyway, I was right on target. The chicken is exactly what I remembered, and more importantly, exactly what I wanted. I call it "dusty" chicken. It's like they don't shake the excess flour off before the oil dunk or something. I dunno, I'm no chef, but whatever that little speckles of breading on your fingers type of chicken is, they got it. It's a great specific flavor when I have the taste for it.The fries were killer too.My wife had breakfast at like 2pm, and was thrilled with everything. Plus, if you're a bit strapped, this is one of those great joints on a budget. Obviously prices raised a bit in the decades that I hadn't dined, but still cost effective cuisine. The proof is that you have about a 1 in 3 chance of being the youngest adult in the room. So if you have age insecurities this is a great place to feel like a kid again. (I kid. Not really.)

Love coming to Roosters after Church with my Husband! Always serve up a hot, filling breakfast with more than enough food for a great price. I swear by the skillets or biscuits and gravy, my husband loves the hollandaise. Always prompt, friendly, and clean. I've only been here once for dinner, just got a burger and fries, it was good. My husband gets their fish fry and loves it! Very good deal, too!

Really good fish fry. Great chicken & dumpling soup. Waitress Stephanie gives great service. The gyro skillet is very filling. Make sure to try the homemade bread.

This place was okay I mean I ordered a mimosa and the waitress should've explained a little bit better that the mimosa was going to be a huge mason jar. Anyways I still drank it. The food was okay also nothing tom special I ordered the garden omelette.

The food has been consistently great! The servers remember your drink order from visit to visit, and the waitress ran out to our car my husbands coat he forgot. Can't complain. Recommend this place to everyone! Look forward to our weekly visit!

This place is a perfect brunch spot sort of tucked away off the main drag... wasn't too crowded and the service was awesome! Kind waitress, genuine... goes a long way for me. Booths and tables weren't over the top fancy or anything but they were really clean. It makes you feel welcome and like you can take the whole family, unlike a lot of trendy breakfast stops in Racine these days. The food was accurately priced, super affordable and you get what you pay for. Simple breakfast... simply priced. I was hoping the chicken and waffles would have been better and the corn beef hash isn't highly recommended but both were just fine. I am looking forward to trying the breakfast scramblers next time we go. See you soon!

Went they're on Father's Day 2016, sat down with my three daughters ordered our food it must have waited over an hour then we had to complain because we still didn't get our food. people all around us we're getting their food after they sat down after us it was busy but that's no excuse. After the waitress came with their food I asked if they would take care of the whole bill and she said yes then after we were ready to leave the owner came over and explained that he can't do that and that I had the option of leaving.He didn't apologize he just said I ate the food and it was my responsibility to pay then he finally said that I should leave and never come back he does not need my business

Tried this restaurant, wont go back. Ordered hot beef, beef, mashed potatoes were cold, asked waitress to put it in the microwave, when she brought it back it was lukewarm. Definitely will not go back!
