Romero Taco Truck

I came to Romero's for a quick bite. It was good. I ordered the carne asada fries. I loved the quick service. Food took no more than 10 minutes.

Holy cow! All the hype was right! This truck is bussin! My daughter and I each had the birria ramen and asada fries. She also asked for a large horchata. This thing was a good 40 oz lolThe ramen comes in a Tapito large ramen cup with the consume, birria, and scallions. It's a huge portion! I wish I would have gotten some tortillas to dunk! The consume was the perfect heat and the meat super tender. The asada fries were delicious! We had trouble eating it in the car and drove home. My car and daughter looked like a Crime scene! Well worth the drive and price! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

I see this truck sometimes by Zebart off hwy 100 but not always so I decided to stop when I saw it and knock off another bookmark with dinner. With so little pictures I thought a Steve stop by was needed also. A steak burrito sounded good so I ordered one with added cilantro and onions along with everything else it came with, cilantro and onions just makes Mexican food Mexican in my opinion. The menu has no prices which was odd but the steak burrito was $9 with my $1 tip jar addition.The burrito had some heft to it so I weighed it and it was one pound and 3.9 oz which is not bad. This doesn't happen often but I liked both of the sauces especially the green one. The steak burrito was good with tender steak and firm black beans with rice and not a lot of rice. I was really digging the firm black beans because the texture complemented the soft/tender meat and rice. The steak had like one mystery gristle piece which was nice.Over this is a decent Mexican food truck and I enjoyed my steak burrito so I will definitely stop back for more of the menu, probably another burrito.

We had Romero's Taco Truck at our work picnic! They did a fantastic job, everyone loved their food. Romero's had great communication leading up to the event. The wait time was very short - as multiple orders were being placed. Many people went up to order seconds.

Tried Romeros Taco Truck at my company's food truck day and Boy! did they blow my socks off with their food flavors and delicious ingredients. I got the slow cooked beef Birria with elote (corn in a cup with crumbled cheese) and a refreshing Horchata.This West Allis food truck deserve your love, so go treat yoself at Romeros food truck

For street tacos as they were intended, Romero's delivers the truest experience I've yet to find in MKE.I will return.

Solid tacos!Romero's Taco Truck made a stop at the Washington Heights Night Market. I've seen them parked outside Metcalfes most of the summer and wanted to try them out. I placed an order for 3 chicken tacos with avocado and cilantro ($2.50/ea - no upcharge for avo, or at least they didn't charge me extra). My order came up quickly - these tacos are double shelled and served with a side of nice spicy green salsa. Overall - solid. My chicken wasn't greasy or gristly - it was good quality meat but unfortunately a bit dry and flavorless. The salsa helped so I used it liberally. Also, I'd say they were smaller than average too. Nice people running the show for sure, and I'd definitely give it another try.

Romero's has everything you could hope for in a taco truck. The carne asada was good but the chicken quesadilla could use a bit more flavor. Overall it was not bad for a quick taco fix.

We ordered two Nacho plates with carne asada.The chips must have been plain Doritos.The steak looked like pre-made processed mystery meat.Huge disappointment.Never again.

I spoke with a gentlemen last week and place an almost $250 order for my staff. I told him that I would love to have the food at the center at 11:30 so that I could make sure it was good to go for my staff at noon. I paid over the phone that day. Today, the food was supposed to arrive at 11:30 per our initial agreement on the telephone. At 11:40, still nothing. I called to which a guy on the phone had told me that they didn't have my order written down and that the food would certainly not be ready before 12. There was no written order or order history even though the order was placed only 4 days ago. He took my order AGAIN. He told me 12:10 the food would arrive. Despite them not being here at the newly agreed time..they didn't bother calling us to let us know. Their phone went to voicemail and the mailbox was full that they were no longer accepting calls. The food finally showed up at 12:35. Only got an "I'm sorry". No discount, refund, or deal. Just a lot of hungry staff that had to get back to their young clients. Customer service was extremely poor.
