It was my first time at this restaurant with my wife on 2/07/25 to celebrate a special occasion together. We had been at a Brazilian restaurant before in New Jersey and had a wonderful experience. We had the full Rodizio meal with the wonderful salad bar and all the meats were wonderfully prepared and of the highest quality. The service from our waiter Joseph was excellent and he did a wonderful job explaining the process. We had good service from all the meat gauchos and the service from the Gaucho Wallette was very memorable and she remembered special meat requests. Again the meat was of the highest quality and the gauchos would cut the meat at your request if you wanted a rare or well done cut of meat. It is good to make online reservations and we were seated on time. We were fortunate to find meter parking right in front of the restaurant but they do have paid parking as well that is available. At $36.99 per person was worth it if you come on an empty stomach and love eating meat

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I've heard good things from friends. Went here on Saturday night with high expectations. The dining room is cozy and well designed, and all of the food and beverages were fantastic. Personal favorites included the garlic steak, Parmesan chicken, the candied plantains, and cheesecake with guava. they did not disappoint. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, and our server took great care of us!

Date of visit: April 20, 2024Having recently dined--and been disappointed at--Texas de Brazil, I was interested to see how Rodizio Grill would compare and on most fronts, it was a better experience. Our server, Edwin, was attentive and frequently checked on us. He recommended drinks that our party really enjoyed; if you're a teetotaler like me, try the guava juice it was fantastic! The salad bar area is plentiful with a little something for everyone. The mac and cheese was decent, but the beef stroganoff was fantastic as were the cinnamon-glazed bananas! For dessert I had the RABANADA - A warm cinnamon pastry with a creamy center, served with vanilla ice cream and laced with caramel sauce. It was very much akin to a churro and I loved it.An overall positive experience, really the only two suggestions I have are:1. Many of the gauchos talk quietly; the combination of the restaurant volume, the accent of the gaucho, and the quiet tone of the gaucho make it very difficult to hear what it is they are presenting. Maybe a sign attached to the tray would help with this?2. Host staff are not very welcoming. When I came in and announced I had a reservation booked directly through the restaurant, they had trouble finding it and then dismissed me to wait at the bar. Would have been nice if they welcomed me and told me in a friendly manner that our table would be ready soon if we could just wait in the bar. When the table was ready, my name was yelled at maximum volume even though I had just checked in 60 seconds earlier, really you forgot who I was that quickly? Lastly, none of the host staff looked at us or said a word as exited. No thank you for spending hundreds of dollars or hoping we will come back again soon?

This is a wonderful place to eat with friends. Quiet, peaceful with the smell of perfectly seasoned meat in the air. The walk to get to the restaurant was amazing as well. Service was impeccable- our server was incredibly attentive.

I was looking for a dinner spot near my hotel in downtown Milwaukee and saw Rodizio Grill...it is a chain restaurant and I have tried one before near Ft Lauderdale and was not impressed. But I thought I would give this location a try and was pleasantly surprised. The salad bar was vast and quite good...both traditional salad options and some nice hot items as well...including the national dish of Brazil...Feijoada and rice. The meat options were also good...in particular the Picanha and Tri Tip were exceptional.I added a premium Caipirinha and was done for the night.Overall Grade:

I've been back since the last review, which was during the Milwaukee Dining Week. I've noted a few things were different from the Dining Week special. First off, all the meats I mentioned below as not being available were available. There was even fish fries that came around in a basket (though only once, and after about an house since we sat down, so we were done)! All the other meats definitely came around more often than during the last visit. I remember that during the dining week, there were a lot more customers and the place was busier, so that may have been the reason. The salad bar was also stocked with some items not seen during the dining week, including palm hearts and some summer seasonal specials.Gauchos continued to be very attentive and they really impressed me with remembering the cuts of meat I liked. Servers continued to be slow and definitely not as attentive as the gauchos. Pao de Queijo was piled on high at 6pm, and knowing they tend to run low, I got my fill for the meal. Glad I did, cuz it didn't last too long. Very good. One of my favorite things here. We also got some grilled salmon, which looked dry... but wow! It was so moist and tasty! I was truly impressed.Overall, very pleasant experience. Though running on the pricier side, you'll get your fill of deliciousness and full belly!***previous review***Gauchos are pretty amazing. Though the place was packed, they still somehow remembered our meat preferences! Like, what cut we like, and how well done! The servers were also quite nice, but a little slow in coming to take our empty plates away. It was a full house though.Salad bar was gorgeously displayed, and kept well stocked and clean. Everything was labeled very well.Appetizer bar was nothing beautiful to look at, and not well stocked. I only got to one batch of the pao de queijo, before the place got so full, and then never saw it get refilled.Selection of meat coming around was a little lacking. Just a little. This location didn't have any fish/seafood, lamb, pernil (Berkshire pork), or galeto (chicken thigh). Not sure that there was any chef's special.Coracao (chicken hearts) only came around once, and with only a few pieces at that. The grilled pineapple was almost cold, so I think they should have grilled it a little longer and brought out the sweetness a little more.Aside from that, the rest of the meats kept on coming, and every cut was pretty delicious. Gauchos are very good at listening to you, so let them know if you like it rare or well done, or if you fatty or lean! They'll do you good.

Everything has sadly gone down hill at Rodizio. Including the front of house customer service. My fiancé and I walked into the restaurant at 7:30 WITH a prior reservation. We walked in and saw a lot of people waiting. We told the hostess that we had a reservation and she said it would be 20-30 minute wait because they're busy and "cleaning tables". What's the point of a reservation if you don't actually reserve a table for us? We ended up getting seated at 8:30. ONE HOUR after our "reservation time". When we got lead back to our table, we saw numerous empty tables. No idea why we couldn't have been seated earlier. As suspected, all the other people who were waiting in the restaurant when we walked in got seated ahead of us. And they seated us 30 minutes before the restaurant closed which made for a rushed experience. The quality and taste of the meats were disappointing. All of the food was just ok. The salad bar has food that doesn't seem fresh, for example, the Brazilian cheese bread was hard. Like it had been sitting under the hot light for too long. The meat was ok. The pineapple was the best part. The best thing was the service of our waitress Siobhan and our gaucho Carol. They were incredible. So accommodating and kind. Very helpful and eager to make sure we had the best experience possible after sitting down. Also the Brazilian limeade with passion fruit juice was a nice combo. Otherwise severely disappointing experience which would make me think twice before returning.

Food and experience are always AMAZING! However, we made a reservation to celebrate an engagement for friends of ours. When we arrived for our reservation time, we were told there was going to be a 25 minute wait time. I was so disappointed because our friend's first experience would be waiting, not enjoying . I do not understand why you would offer reservations if you cannot keep them. So saddened by this.
