You ever walk in a place you've never been and the music stops and everyone turns to see these aliens who just entered? Well, this is that place. Full disclosure, I can't review the food because we never got to order. Here's why:Stopped at 11:30 on a weekday, maybe 5 tables of people sitting. Sat at the bar. Bartender never made eye contact. Never said "be with you aliens shortly". I told my friend what to order for me as I had to use the bathroom. When I came back, no drink yet. Still no eye contact. Finally after 15 minutes she brings menus over and asks what we want to drink. We order and since it wasn't soda from the gun, she turns and while walking away said "I can't make those. It takes too long. These other people are all in their lunch break". Believe me, we didn't order muddled mojitos and it wouldn't have taken long to make. But aliens don't get lunch breaks I guess. We can afford to kill two hours at a pub and grill. Ok cool, we wait while she brings drinks to the 5 tables (I give her credit, she was hustling) and then disappears into the kitchen for some reason. At that point we realized the aliens were never going to be served so after what has now been 20 minutes + after we sat down, we got up and left. Not before we got some evil eyes like "how dare you leave". If you're a regular, great. You've found a spot. If you're an alien, find another planet to land on and hopefully get served.

on Sat 6/3/23 my husband and I as well as another couple who were celebrating their wedding anniversary and picked the place. We went to this establishment, according to google they open at 7 am on Sat. when we arrived they weren't open. We could see light on in the kitchen so we called and were told 11 am they opened. We entered the building at 11 am to be greeted by the bartender who told us we needed to move our vehicle because we were parked in the middle of the parking lot very rudely. My husband moved our vehicle 2 inches and our bumper was tight against a planter. While the guys were moving the vehicle I suggested that they let google know that they don't open at 7 am. The bartender proceeded to argue with me and then the cook chirped in and yelled at me for arguing with the bartender. she told me if we wanted to know the hours we should look on the bars Facebook page, We stayed because the other couple we were with wanted to eat there, but out menu's were thrown at us. The 2 people working were also talking smack about 2 Quad Graphics employees that were coming in, how they are drunks and obnoxious. The guys sat right next to me and were very polite , they spent good money and ate. I have been a bartender for 40 years and I go to lots of establishments and have never been treated like this. I know she isn't the owner, she is an employee and the cook is her brother. After telling my story several customers told me I needed to write this review so the owner knows right from the horses mouth what happen. My husband and his brother stopped the week before with his uncle and asked her a question and she was very rued to them also. This behavior was not a one and done. The food was good, I would go back for the food but if she is working i will not stay.

On our way up north used yelp to find a good place to stop outside of Red Robin or McDonald's. Several reviews on this place were impressive so we decided to stop. Well I'm pretty sure we found our regular stop!!! They were friendly and quick. From the outside it really doesn't look like anything special but the inside is a nice "Northwoods" type bar and Food was delicious. We both had burgers which were cooked perfectly!!! My only problem is I usually ate before I decide of to post a review and was able to take pics.... Sorry haha Side note.... one thing I noticed that must be mentioned is the older lady doing all cooking by herself and That alone is beyond impressive and it was all done in a timely manner!!!! I felt like I was watching gramma cook us all dinner!!! Loved it!!! Ohhh and we got mini baby Ruth's with our check PS I indulged in a couple beers as well.... good beer/drink selection for a small town bar!! Highly recommended!!!

Stopped in after a round of golf. Food was cooked perfectly and at a very reasonable price. My wife had fries with her sandwich and said they must have been homemade they were so tasty. Don't let the small look to the building fool you; there is a gem inside.

This was a great place to stop on our road trip! Great, fast service, clean and warm interior, and a great prime rib dinner! Baked potato was a little overdone, otherwise a good, filling wisconsin dinner.

I've been to this place dozens of times since it opened (6+ years ago?), and have known the owner forever. The main reason we went there was for the wings. The "Rock your World" wings were (emphasis on were) some of the best tasting, heat wings I've ever eaten. And I love the $h*t outta' wings!! The last 2 times we visited in the past year, we noticed there's far less heat than they used to be. Not a deal killer, but not a "hey, lets drive 20 miles to get those wings". Cuz that's how far away we live.My wife & I drove out last Friday, and vowed this would truly be our last visit. The owner (Karen) continues to be hospitable, and a great host. The rest of her staff doesn't seem to carry that same concern. We stopped in around 6:30 - high time for Friday Fish Fry night. Place was half empty. Unless you counted the staff. I counted 6 people in the kitchen at one time doing God knows what. It's all deep fried food for God sake! I ordered a 4 pc. Pollack & my wife order Jumbo, fried shrimp. I expected the Pollack to be just "so-so", and it met my expectations. The fries were so black and almost "leathery", they were difficult to chew. My wife's "jumbo" shrimp were actually, "average or less" sized shrimp with so much batter on them, it made them look like prawns. They weren't!Long & short is that this is an operation in disarray. I'm guessing they have steadily lost business, so they cheapen up the food quality. Yet, the owner insists on scheduling staff as though there will be people falling out the windows. They're not! If you want a cold drink & able to tolerate less than stellar bar food. Rock the House is your place. If you're looking for something better, stay on the highway.

Outstanding burgers and prime rib! Chef Tim does outstanding with new menu ideas! Excellent old fashions! Our waitress Lexi was outstanding! Never once waited for refills on drinks and tables was always cleared of empty dishes. She knew the menu well and can answer any questions about the menu! This is a diamond in the rough!
