We used to go here an absolute ton when it was Cataldos. Andrew's right - there's no ambiance, but it just use to be this cool-hole in the wall. There is really only 1 great bartender there - I'm pretty sure he's the owner. He's a little older, super friendly, always accommodating. The other people are idiots or jerks.A friend joined us late for dinner and we asked one of the bartenders that is always there on Tuesday nights (it's $1 Tacos) to add him to my tab. He forgot to do that and asked me to pay his bill separate. Since I don't carry cash I told him to just run my card "but it's only $8" - "but I don't have cash." "Well it's only $8" until the late friend just went "I'll pay myself."You're lucky if the guy with the shaggy hair and glasses is paying attention let alone taking your order right. It's a shame.Football Sundays are when you'll get the great bartender though - always cooking up something free for guests, makes a great bloody.Go if you're looking for somewhere quiet with lots of parking - not if you're looking for a unique experience.

We were looking for a new place for our 2011 Fish Fry quest and I remember seeing this place on the way home. Had no idea what type of place it could be.The restaurant bar is located in the basement of the VFW hall. It was dark and no ambiance at all. Just looked like a bar in someone's basement. It had about 8 tables in the main area and 1 long table in what I could only think could have been an old coat room. Large bar but you would expect that in a VFW hall. The service was friendly and the fish was good. They had two kinds - Cod and Baked Haddock. Total bill was $22.50 for two fish frys, 1 PBR, and 1 soda. They also have an array of bar food on non Lenten days. One of the items, that caught my eye was their version of the Juicy Lucy.I'll probably go back to try the wings and their Juicy Lucy.

This place is hidden in the basement of a VFW post. After going down the stairs, it opens up to a nice bar with a lot of newer TV's. We stopped here for Sunday brunch, and we had a very nice time. Drink prices seemed a bit high for a VFW post, but not outrageous. The Bloody Mary's are very good, and they are $4.50 with a beer chaser. Everyone there was very friendly, and we hung out for a bit. We had the fruit platter, which came with a great yogurt dip. I also had the breakfast burger, which came with a very good sirloin patty. They also had rice crispy treats for no charge, so that's totally a perk. Nothing we ate was too exciting, but good breakfast food at a decent price. I will go back to try the fish fry!

Horrible place. I went with friends on Saturday night. They ordered mozzarella sticks and paid for the order in cash. When I got my credit card bill at the end of the night, they charged me for their order. I will never go back here again!

They have a new, expanded menu, and everything on it is FABULOUS!! Must haves are the Fried Ravioli, the Fish Fry, and the Tenderloin Sandwich. Prices are very reasonable, the service is great, and the variety is enough to make anyone happy.
