Road Dawg Saloon & Eatery

Staff greeted me promptly with a smile, even opened 25 minutes early so I didn't have to wait until 11am!!! Ambiance has a dive-bar / motorcycle club vibe with with lots of neon signs and plenty of high top seating (even a small covered patio). I ordered the grilled chicken buffalo sandwich with fries and I was NOT disappointed! The grilled, juicy, thick burger chicken breast was a classic pairing with buffalo sauce, lettuce & tomato. Fries are battered and crispy. Kitzy (not sure of spelling) was the day manager who opened the place up early for me. She is awesome! We shared several laughs! Can tell she has a regular crowd by whom she is appreciated!

When I went in here, the place looked old, and the seats felt like you were sitting at an angle. The food itself was good, and the service quick, but not something I'll try again.

Staff quality variable. the young guy gets it together but the kitchen is a question mark. No room for a musicians and dancing . Outside patio too small LAX overheadNo protection from inclement. They should have a hole in the bar Midway from more prompt service. Maybe a high staff turnover has to do with walking too far to serve customers.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I love it. Great food and service. Very friendly patrons. Very homey bar.

My mother in law I came here on a Saturday evening.Definitely an older crowd, which she liked. The bar area had stools and a few tables. They only have a few machines, that seemed older. You can eat inside or outside. The outside area had some tables and chairs & smoking was allowed in that area. I tried the shaved prime rib sandwich on Texas toast and it was so gooodd! Their housemaid chips were excellent and a definite must try. Our server only came by once to bring us our food. After a few minutes we kept looking around for her since we needed a glass of water. Apparently, her shift ended and never told us hence the reason why we never got refills, etc. I actually had to check out with the bartender who just started her shift who was clearly swamped from her other customers wrapping up and people coming in. They definitely need to better staff the place and make sure that servers are more attentive to their tables. The bartender (forgot name but she was tall and had a blonde ponytail)was very friendly, and very attentive. She made the experience worth coming back again..whenever I come back to the area.

Good service, good bar food. Only complaint was that the beer we wanted had run out. It's small inside, so if going on a busy night, get there early!

Great local bar. Staff is friendly. Drink specials are good. I love the bloody Mary's--they're not the crazy meal in a drink, just really good.

Good food. Atmosphere is pleasant. The bartender was nice but tends to give the regulars more attention than new people that come in. Still would go back for the food.

Good food with no fuss. It looks more like a bar than a restaurant but the food was good and not too pricey. You go to the bar to order and get your food at the bar when it's ready. No frills but the sandwiches were good
