A little hidden gem! Fresh market but has a little restaurant inside that serves amazing tacos which are a really good size and fresh guacamole at a reasonable price! There is also a bakery in the front, I wasn't a huge fan of the items I chose, but I'd like to go back for a tres leches cake sometime.Service was slightly slow overall but everyone was friendly.

Authentic Mexican grocery store with a bakery and restaurant that serves great tacos and tamales. Will def go back to try the baked goods and other restaurant options. The hot food at the counter looked really good. I like that you can buy meat by the pound to go home and make your own tacos.

Although it has variety, its extremely expensive. They take advantage of Rockford not having many hispanic markets to raise their prices. Tostadas for $8 plus tax? Lol what a joke. We wanted pan dulce and it gets hard the next day , no flavor and hollow and of course expensive per piece. The 3leches cake is good but such a small portion for the price. Went twice to give it an opportunity but it's ridiculous every time we check the receipt smh

I came to Rockford Fresh Market on 12/9/2022. I bought a couple of groceries and found them to be a bit on the pricey side. One thing that I loved about this market is that there is a restaurant connected to it. I tried the tacos and thought they were great! The customer service by the cashiers was ok. The Rockford Fresh Market also has meats, fruits, and Hispanic foods. Compared to other markets in the area I found that this market was well organized. I also liked that this store was clean and well set up. I will be a returning customer due to the Hispanic food available and the many food options.

Came here to grab some last minute Easter groceries. Barely bought anything as everything was over priced! The arracheras was $10.99 lb. The produce selection wasn't great. I think maybe because the prices are so high no one comes to shop here, that the produce just sits there. It was a Saturday morning when we came and really not a lot of shoppers, like the other stores. We also ate brunch at their little restaurant/fast food place. It was okay. Very mediocre. The carne asada dinner was tough, not seasoned well & the rice was not fully cooked. Overall I would not shop here as it's overpriced and I could have gone somewhere else to get cheaper and better groceries.

The guy yelled at me when I was trying to walk out of the store. He was moving some carts and I guess he thought I was gonna try to like.. squeeze by and he was all like "CAN YOU WAIT!" and I'm just like... tf? It's whatever I like the store. They got good music on.

Best steak burrito in town, is even better with the guacamole on it. I now know the meaning of foodgasim. I'm not too crazy on the rice though.

Head for the little food counter at the back of the store, behind the produce. Two dollar tacos and a dozen different dinner combos to eat in or take out. They fix it fresh, and it's great value for the money. My quesadilla meal included three big frizzled beef quesadillas, lettuce, tomato, beans and rice, and a soft drink for $8.50. Just watch out for the pannikin of green creamy stuff they throw in...it isn't guacamole, it's salsa verde, and it's got quite a kick.
