Rivalry Alehouse

The cheese curds here are absolutely amazing! I grew up in Wisconsin and these are some of the best I ever had!

OK, so we wanted a nice place for our 38th anniversary and we found it great casual place in the Rivalry Alehouse. First off, the bartender / server, Kevin, was fantastic. He took better care of us than most servers we've had a high end restaurants and he did this while running the bar too!After deciding on the cheese curds and cream of broccoli soup for starters...and both were terrific, I was torn between the Epic Pork Schnitzel and the Gnocchi Bolognese. Based on Kevin's recommendation I went with the Schnitzel and I'm glad I did. It was prepared really well but the sides made the dinner truly epic. Braised red cabbage, mashed potatoes, and the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had. My wife had the Spaetzel Beef Marsala and upon tasting it I think it was a perfect bite of food. The only thing I didn't care for was the Banana Bread that but they took such great care of us that I really couldn't complain about it. Thanks Rivalry Alehouse for giving us a fun and delicious anniversary dinner.

The theme is Germany vs Ireland. The menus and drinks reflect that. The food tastes like average pub food, but I certainly like the different variety of offerings. You can get some brats, you can get some corned beef. So it makes for a fun night out.On the weekends they often have live music, so it's a good place to grab a drink with a friend and listen to some music. I've been there on multiple occasions, And it's usually pretty busy. Make a reservation if you've got a large group

We stopped by on an evening before 6 pm, before the restaurant became busy,The staff were friendly, provided good recommendations and checked in to see how we were doing throughout the evening.I ordered the cinnamon cranberry smash. It was fruity but not too sweet and seemed to have a bit of spice, maybe from the cinnamon stick.The short rib melt is a big sandwich. The meat was savory and full of flavor. There was a good amount of cheese and honey-ale house onions, which seemed to be caramelized. The au jus was tasty and thicker than most jus'. It was more like a gravy, yet tasty. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside with a fluffy interior.We'd stop by again the next time we are in the area!

I was not impressed!Service was okay. It just reminded me of a regular burger place.

The Short Rib Melt is to die for and the fries really are the best. There were some service issues but they had a private party upstairs so they get a pass. Seriously: Short Rib Melt.

Food is great, hot and fast. Lots of choices for appetizers and dinner options. The burger is really good!! Service is amazing, everyone is super sweet and friendly. The place gives a German Irish feel with the decor, lots of seating options. Parking is a little funky

Food was hit and miss today , service was good. The good: the trinity corned beef sliders, chicken Caesar salad, and the appetizers: cheese curds and beignets, Just ok: signature burgerNot great: the kids Mac and cheese was super spicy...the coffee was weak and/or not so fresh, the carrot cake to go (we've ordered it before and the server or kitchen? was kind enough to put the caramel sauce and whip cream in small cups with lids but today, they just poured it on top. By the time we got home, the whip cream was melted and the sauce was soaked into the part of the cake on the bottom. :(

It is very important to support local restaurants. This is one of them. This hidden gem is only year old, it was really nicely decorated and very well maintained. The bar area was ample. The bartender Heidi was very nice and welcoming and suggested we go upstairs and check out the outdoor area. It was a stunning roof top with nice comfortable furniture and a huge deck.My go to vodka lemonade was really good and the bloody Mary was just the right amount of spice.The braised short rib panini was really tasty and plenty for two people to share. The upgraded side salad was an ample portion to share but seemed to be missing something like cheese, carrots, croutons etc. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area! I give this restaurant 4.5 stars.

Excellent service, excellent food. Great place for a group to meet up. We had breakfast and the menu was full of choices.
