Rice's Liquor

If you need liquor of any kind, chips, cigarettes, party needs, etc., this is the place to go. A one stop shop. This liquor store has been around Burlington since I was a kid. It's one of the original liquor stores that served generations. My father used to religiously by his lottery tickets from the store. It's conveniently located adjacent to Echo Park.

this is a nice little place with decent selection of wine and spirits. whenever i am in burlington (which is often) i frequent this place. my complaint is the young lady behind the counter is annoyed by questions. shecharged the wrong price which is ok (mistakes happen) but what is not ok is her texting on her cellphone during a transaction with a custonmer. you can make mistakes such as charging me the wrong price. i was in burlington over christmas holiday i noticed a new wine and spirits store that I will check out next time . In the past, there was a guy at Rice liquor that was great and well versed on his wine suggestions. nice guy too! bring him back! you wont be disappointed should you decide to shop here. The current customer service is not the best, which is a shame to a staple establishment in burlington.
