Renards European Bakeshop

I've seen a few reviews saying you can't find a bakery like this unless you're in Milwaukee or Madison but honestly, you can't find a bakery as good as this there either. Renards is a hidden gem, and the baked goods make you feel like you've died and gone to heaven. Also - why has no one talked about the butter dip stuff you can buy? I forget what it's called but HOLY COW that's a must when you grab some fresh bread. The people working there are always nice, and while it's normally relatively busy inside, they're patient as you choose what goodies you want. I don't live in town but when I come to visit family, I'm not leaving until I've been to Renards!

Truly charming boulangerie that brought me back. The heady combination of warm fresh baked breads and coffee hooked me instantly. On offer today contained a beautiful assortment of cookies (including the best ever rugelach), pan au chocolat, croissants, quiche... Now the loaves - carrot grain, cinnamon raisin, all of which change daily and pair nicely with a quart of take away soup.

I stopped two days in a row. On Friday, I bought ham and cheese croissant as well as flavored sparkling water for my lunch and some "treats (sourdough bread, assorted pastries) for friends. The croissant was flaky, rich, hit the spot. I was very impressed with the adherence to COVID-19 precautions for starters. The building has great curb appeal, nice old building. Inside are some beautiful live edge slab counters. It is clean, with good service. Saturday one of the friends I gifted called about how good the bread was. I drove 15 miles out of my way to buy a loaf of ciabatta for myself. They also had Wisconsin Red Barn Caleb "soft washed rind cheese" for sale, as well as Gorgonzola butter, both of which I purchased. I could not pass up Mexican wedding cookies or the chocolate chip cookie, all of which were excellent. I highly recommend this bakery. A great addition to Princeton and east central Wisconsin.

I stopped in earlier this summer and was impressed with the tasty lunch options - really fantastic. Bakery items were great too. Planned on stopping today but they were closed - new hours for the season are Fri- Sun

The very best bakery food outside of Europe! I seriously can't get enough of their baked goods. I just wish they had more hours of service. But for now, we will visit and purchase at least once per week!

This place is a gem! Truly an amazing establishment. The pastries and breads are some of the best I've ever had. Seems like the equivalent of of what you would find in Europe. I enjoy all their pastries, especially the chocolate coconut croissants and lemon tarts. I also love the carrot bread, and their cardamom bread is heavenly. You really can't go wrong with anything you pick up here!

A fabulous European bakery. Warm and friendly service. Outstanding traditional pastries and breads. A delightful atmosphere to just pop in to make a purchase or to stay and enjoy coffee and your baked goods. Simply the best bakery around. Can't recommend enough!

Great bakery, but even better sandwichesTried the Gobbler, Nueske smoked turkey, bacon, romaine, cheddar cheese.Fabulous!!Also tried the Pecan Bread, which is was also Fabulous!I will be back.

This bakery is wonderful. Everything I've had has been delicious and the prices are very fair. Look forward to visiting when everyone I'm in the area.
