Not only do they provide Skillfully crafted selections of elite bevy's they also push the boundaries of what every passionate pedestrian cicerone or sommelier seeks. In a world of neighborhood establishments, they are the Giannis to the bucks, the yelich to the brewers, the wade to marquette, the pinnacle of keystone players in a world so diluted of mediocrity. Rays is my go to store for buying singles for craft beer. They always have a fresh selection with a good variety. Upstairs they have a growler gallery where they have 8 beers on tap as well as their house made slushies and other cocktails. They have lots of events that they host throughout the week that are always fun to attend, as well as lots of food trucks since they don't serve their own food.

Rays *always* slays. If I need a cocktail ingredient, nice bottle of wine, or just want a new local beer release, this is the place. The staff are knowledgeable, the selection is big but not overwhelming, and the events they hold are always a blast.

Simply the best, with a great selection and incredible advice. Rick has retired, but Nat, Nate, Nathan, Nathaniel is a wealth of information. He recommends wine, spirits and beer with intelligence and humor, focusing on a patron's unique palate. Rays is the best in Milwaukee.

The prices here are crazy Sendik's 2 stores up sells the same wines for considerably less. Claret at Rays $22 Claret at Sendik's $15 The staff is rude with the exception of the owner who is a wonderful guy which is why I supported the store. Love the tastings but just don't want to be ripped.

Heaven on Earth as I like to refer to Ray's. Was visiting family back home and my mom lent me her car. First stop, the liquor store-as you do! Beer and wine as the far can see! An institution and one I support every time I'm in Milwaukee.

I have been driving past rays for years and I did a U turn to finally stop and check the out. I had a space open up in the bar cart so I wanted to fill it with something new to try. The place has great assortment of everything from around the world it looked like. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I wanted a recommendation on a gin and I told the guy what I have had and what I liked and he suggested I get the gun powder Irish gin which is his personal gin of choice so I will try it which I did like. The price is noticeably higher than the place I usually shop at but it's all good, I don't intend to be a regular because I don't live even remotely close to them and I was just in the area for lunch.

I love Rays and would say it's my go to spot and local liquor store. The events are awesome and really enjoyable. The selections are some of the best in Wisconsin. I'm a bourbon guy so the options are great. My only gripe is the options tend to be overpriced on stuff that's not rare. You can find good bottles at retail or just over but don't expect to get your staple bourbons at retail here. They mark them up a bit compared to other local spots. The service is awesome, so friendly and knowledgeable. I have not had a bad experience here and have gotten some awesome stuff from here. Seriously - my go to spot. Thank you Rays and team!

Employees won't allow liquor sales past 8:50pm so just don't go here if you're looking to get something before the 9pm cut off!
