Rascals Bar and Grill

Food is usually good but each time we have gone to eat here the service is slow and not overly friendly. If you aren't in a hurry to get anywhere within the next 2 hrs this is worth a shot.

Any food I've had from here is pretty routine bar food and is really "been there, done that". Is not bad, but it doesn't stick out in any way-The layout is kinda a mess. One gets the impression on how the heck the staff can keep up with what's going on. Service seems pretty random.-This place is LOUD. If they have any kind of live music you're not going to hear your companion. Period.Bottom Line: I have an appreciation for Rascals. It's simply not my scene. The service level is more adept to something I would expect out of a club. Its the customer experience that got the 2 star, and it was to tough rate it like that because its not a bad place. Just too disorganized where I can enjoy myself.Rascals is at a spot where I'll come here when asked, but it will never be my first choice on a weekend night. Daytime may produce better results.

I have been going here for well over 10 years. Always one of my favorites for live music on weekend prior to covid. Still great value compared to many places in the area. Their happy hour appetizer deal is a real treat. Good variety of appetizers and regular menu items to choose from. We always enjoy the food & enjoying sitting by the fireplace on colder days.

Got here at 12 for a Bears game. There are 12 people here and only 6 eating. In that 1 hour We ordered potato skins. At the 40 minute mark we got the ice cold skins that we had to send back. We are now waiting for the burgers we ordered. We totally aren't coming here again. We might eat lunch by 3. Hahaha ha what a trainwreck.

This is the first time I've ever ordered food from Rascal's. I drive by and it's always packed. I went there once for a birthday party, but that is the extent of my relationship with Rascals. Anyway, it's Friday, and I'm looking for beer battered fish. My husband wants a burger. I call a couple of places and pick up time is 1.5 hours. No. I took a chance a called Rascals. Such a pleasant gentleman took my order, answered questions about the menu, said it would be 20 minutes. I arrived about 18 minutes later, and same pleasant gentleman greeted me for my pick up. I mean seriously so nice! Immediately someone brought my food out, no waiting!!! I paid and was out the door. When I opened the carry out boxes, both dinners looked delicious! I was so excited to eat it, I forgot to take pictures! My fish was lightly beer battered and the fish was so light and flaky, choice of potatoes, which included a baked potato, which I chose, because why not?!? He asked if I wanted butter and sour cream. Definitely. Beautifully baked potato. A sweet dinner roll which was fabulous, 2 containers of butter (heart be still!), sour cream, the tartar sauce was a perfect compliment to the fish, and the coleslaw was crunchy, sweet and tangy. Next time I will dine in, because to be honest, fish loses it crispness in a covered box traveling from the restaurant to my house, but even so, I was in the clean plate club!!! Well done Rascals! Compliments to the kitchen staff as well as the waitstaff! And yes, I'm gonna salt that lemon and eat that too!!!Oh yeah! My husbands cheeseburger was a work of art, steak fries were the potato chosen for him. They were gorgeously sprinkled with seasonings and flecks of green. Like a fancy restaurant! He enjoyed it very much!

Service was very good! I recommend the steak fries because the homemade ones are very thin and easily overcooked.

My husband and I had amazing food, drinks, and service at Rascal's the other night! Everyone was friendly and enjoying the band!

very biased during bingo night. very picky and choosey on who wins and who says bingo first. the rules seem to be different depending on who won..

A locally-owned establishment located right next to a sports complex. Attention to detail and reasonable drinks. Plenty of room for larger groups and perfect place for pre-hame primers or post-game celebrations. Owner supports and gives back to the community generously so it's a win-win!

Always great food and service. Live music every weekend. The owner is constantly supporting local charities and community members. Could not ask for a better hangout.
