Places like Pribnow's are vanishing as quickly as the farm fields throughout the Town of Oconomowoc! A sad consequence of the influx of people moving to the Oconomowoc area who like so many storied towns before it in similar situations, fail to promote and support what makes these rural towns so real and charming. Love Pribnow's as that touch stone of community and local DNA. Don't miss what the area is becoming - ordinary, common and over done.Our family of 6 and some of our kids' friends (all older) came for the fish fry and were not disapotinted. Great old school fish fry of flaky sweet Perch and White Fish accomapued by Warm Bacon Potato Salad, Potato Pancakes and tartar. Server was awesome.It was all exactly as it should be. Pribnow's - thank you for sinking deep roots!

First time there for the fish fry, as we heard it was good. Very good old fashioned and bartender was friendly. The dining room was stark and run down with minimal decor. Folding tables and plastic table cloths. I had the all you can eat deep fried white fish and perch. Took a long time to get served even though we got there early, before the rush. Fish was ok but the batter was a bit too heavy and retained a bit too much oil. Seemed to need to be fried longer or hotter to brown it. Potato pancakes appeared to be from mashed potatoes instead of shredded and were soggy; not browned or crisped at all. Cole slaw was good. Hard to find an all you can eat fish fry now days and prices were good, but not worth it for the negatives.

Very pleasant experience, great fish fry all you can eat whitefish, German potato salad, fries, the best potato pancakes all served family style. Great staff, friendly competent bartender. All a real value.

Being from the south, i was hesitant that i was gonna have some of the best fried fish up here, but i will honestly say that the fish here is in my top three places I've ever had it. I don't like beer battered fish and i loved it here. The sides we're amazing as well. This will be a must stop every Friday night I'm in the area. Staff are just as good as the food.

We just went there on Friday for dinner , Fish fry were good , very crispy and well seasoning , potato pancake was delicious , the restaurant make me feel like family get together holiday dinner which is good but only down fall was our server! She was kinda rude , spilled drink on our table and get angry while serving us so for that I took 1 star off!

Solid fish fry. Place itself is cute- old school decor, simple furnishings. Service was friendly. We walked in on a Friday at 6:30 and were sat right away. They have an all you can eat whitefish that is beer breaded and perch. You can get both as a smaller plate too. I liked the whitefish better than your traditional cod. Breading was good-- not too greasy and crispy. The potato pancakes are legit, potato thin, homemade. A little onion in them. Delish!! The coleslaw. Let's talk about the coleslaw for a moment. So many places screw this up. Dreamy. Excellent flavor, creamy, not too vinegary. We had the schaum torte for dessert and the cheesecake-- both also excellent. Overall for the price-- great value. Good place for kids as well.

Its just ok. The atmosphere was stale and LOUD. Fish was good but the sides didnt compliment anything.

Visiting family over the Holiday had not had a fish fry in about 3 yrs, went here with my brother in law and family. Very good, nice little bar for a couple brandy old fashions, and into the dinning area for an all you can eat WI fish fry. You do not have to do the all you can eat but hey you are in WI, I had the shrimp and fish combo very very good. I would recommend take the drive and eat.

Great fish fry, old school bar, drinks were good. Bartenders are awesome!!!We are going tonight for dinner

The fish fry is good and there can be a wait. Staff is attentive and service is good. I would stay away from the tartar sauce.
