I had breakfast here on a weekend. French toast was my favorite item. Greek omelette was good as well. Chai Latte and hot cider were my drinks. Both were good drinks.

Back again at Prairie Cafe. I think I can say with confidence that this is my FAVORITE restaurant in Madison. I eat here probably every Sunday? The food is awesome every time. I usually get brunch but today I got their lunch (CBLT) and it did not fail. It was SOOO good!!! Seriously so impressed. Love this place, love the staff, love the everything.

They have a fun breakfast menu, great food, affordable prices, excellent customer service, and a cozy atmosphere! There is so much light pouring into the restaurant which makes it such a relaxing space. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The menu has a lot of variety and many ways you can customize your order. We come here at least once a month for a weekend breakfast. Today we had the Prairie Scramble (any three ingredients included) and the Badger breakfast sandwich with sausage (one of at least four meat choices). The food was hot and fresh and came out quickly. I love their English muffins here, so that is always my go-to along with a miel latte. This is such a great local spot!

What a great breakfast spot! Their iced coffees are always delicious. Plenty of seating most days, it does get quite busy. My breakfast sandwich was delicious! A little pricey in my opinion but tasted great. It's a great spot to drop in and catch up on some emails with a delicious coffee and treats! Would recommend adding it to your list of coffee shops to work from.

Why hadn't I been here before? Went for breakfast with my husband and was impressed with how easy the experience was. The menu is pretty extensive. You order at the counter, and they give you a number. We grabbed a table. The food was prompt even though almost all tables were full. We each got a breakfast burrito. My veggie one was packed with ingredients and was rolled well so it didn't fall apart as you eat. This is a larger dining area than I expected, with large windows so it's bright inside. Coffee and condiments are all self-service. They have the to-go boxes out. I love when places do this so you don't have to ask a server for every little thing. They have thought things through. We will return.

Quick service, helpful staff, and tasty food. I would definitely recommend Prairie Cafe.

We went for Mother's Day breakfast and everything was great! The food is tasty. The staff is nice. Wonderful little coffee/breakfast spot.

Plenty of parking, plenty of seating. This place fills esp on the weekends. You order at the counter, breakfast and lunch only and they give you a number to take to your table. The girl who took our order was super sweet Great bakery selection! I got the blueberry lemon scone and colectivo coffee. When you eat here you can use a mug or a to go cup. It's by the pump so I mixed the decaf with the blue heeler. Remembering colectivo being acidic but this was smoothe and no acidic taste at all. Fresh, hot perfect.Scone was yummy and I love the water fill section being easy to get to no matter where you sit.This place really has it figured out. Go!

The food is somewhat expensive considering the portion sizes. When we moved to Middleton in '07, this place was incredibly popular and a perfect reason for a long stroll. It's always crowded, making it difficult to find a seat. Parking can be a pain as well; you might have to park quite a distance down the hill in the neighborhood. Customer service can vary since things move quickly, but the food is reliably tasty!
