Pop's Burger & Pizza House

Not our favorite Pizza but the cheese curds were really good. Cool, cozy little place but a little cramped at the bar and small rables.

How i wanted to enjoy this more. I was thrown off by the "sweet or sour" question when ordering the old fashioned. I thought WI was known for their old fashioneds. Lol. Sprite, no thanks. Selzer, no thanks. I asked the gal if she could make me one with simple syrup and bitters. She was confident on her abilities. What I got was a garbled mess of marachino cherries and orange slices and whisky. I somehow got it down with choking on the muddled fruit. Hub and I orderd fried cheese curds and a 10 in pizza. The curds saved the day. They were a bit crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The white cheese had a great chew and flavor. The pizza was regular crust, baked a little crispy. There was something familiar with the sauce flavor. It kept transporting me to a frozen pizza of my yesteryear. I couldn't pit my finger on it. None the less, not my favorite pizza. The restaurant only had a few tables and some bar seats. Pretty cramped.

Food was great! We had a pizza ribs and burgers. All came out quickly and were delicious! Little awkward ordering at the bar versus table, but is what it is for 2022. Portions were huge. Pizza was great.

I really enjoyed checking out this spot! Wings were fantastic and the drinks are well done. Specialty cocktails ended up being a little pricier than I expected but that won't stop me from going back. Lots to choose from on the menu! Can't wait to try something new.

Burgers were good . Chicago pizza was a good attempt but nothing like a real Chicago pizza. Maybe come back again but not sure.

Customer service is everything and it can make or break a business. I've been here a few different times hoping that it would improve but it hasn't. I love the food but some of the staff make the environment feel unwelcoming. Whether that's having a bad attitude or making me feel like an inconvenience or a burden when I ask a question. It's disappointing because the food does taste well but I can't get past the bad service. Maybe I'll just have to order everything to go from now on. On top of that the tables were dirty the few times I've gone and I had to find someone to clean it off. Respect goes both ways and I didn't receive any in return which is disappointing since I'm spending my hard earned money trying to support a local business vs a chain.

I'm only giving 1 star because the food is great. 10/10 would recommend. Customer service on the other hand.. I'm never one to leave a bad review, I always give places the benefit of the doubt. I ordered an appetizer and never received it (everyone else at my table received theirs). When I mentioned that I didn't receive my appetizer , jazmin (the waitress) said to me "you didn't say that." In a rude tone instead of "I must not have heard you! I'm sorry about that! Would you like me to put in an order for you?" We've all worked in customer service and we KNOW you try to accommodate to the customer. I asked everyone around me, they all heard me say my appetizer order. It felt like I was fighting her over onion rings.. lol. Like I said , it's not even that I didn't get my appetizer, but that there wasn't even an offer to put in another order. I normally wouldn't put in a review for something like this.. but I really excited for these onion rings. Once again, the food that I DID receive , was 10/10.

We had pizza and wings yesterday. The pizza was delicious and the wings were awesome. The place is very clean and staff very nice.

Burgers are flavorful and substantial, with many options. Portion size and food quality represent a great value. Could have more tap beer options.
