Popeye's on Lake Geneva

I could have got this at Culver's with lettuce, tomato, and mayo for $11. Instead of naked for 22. I had to ask for ketchup for my fries and mayonnaise for the chicken sandwich. Everybody was just worried about logging in and getting the register ready and there's nobody sitting at the bar as I'm sitting here eating. I know it's a slow day but this sucks, this ain't the Popeyes I used to go to. But on a good note I could have had cheese, lettuce, and tomato for an extra $1.50. I went to Pier 290 in lake Geneva and I thought that sucked with the paper thin hamburger with-out cheese for $20( review to follow ) and a $22 chocolate martini, but holy cow this is crazy. And I got charged for the mayonnaise I requested for the chicken. Oh well, maybe the no tax tip will help the service.

This may be due to the fact that I was with a really large group that things fell flat for this place. They said we were going to Popeyes and I was thoroughly confused but when we pulled up I realized oh not the chicken place. We had reservations and when we arrived they had to add more tables for our group. With the size of our group we had two servers, one taking care of each side but the servers still had other tables to take care so they were being overworked and it was noticeable in their service.I ordered their brisket let's just say you can skip it. It had no flavor, it was grayish and fatty. I couldn't even finish it. It comes with onion rings and a drizzle of bbq sauce, coleslaw and fries. Their broccoli cheese soup on the other hand saved my meal. A good number of my group ordered the AYCE fish fry meal. But again the servers couldn't be found to bring them more. They eventually just brought out plates full because they were tired of individuals wanting another round. It's a cool place on the inside just didn't have a good time. Some of the people in my group said it has gone downhill since the last time that they have been which makes sense.

A fub, touristy spot in the heart of Lake Geneva! It's very kitschy with the excessive sea-decor. Some may call it corny but I think all the quirky stuff makes it memorable. This place is huge, and I mean massive. So much indoor seating, including the main bar, and lots of patio space which provides some pretty great views of the lake & all the foot traffic in town.We stopped in for some apps and drinks on an early Friday afternoon. The five of us sat at the bar and were taken care of by Amy. She was such a sweetheart and gave speedy service. For food we ordered a few things to pass. Can't go wrong with the premium fried cheese curds... a WI staple. They came out hot and gooey. Also the Popeyes baked brie, oh my goooodness. We devoured it. Creamy Danish brie cheese in herbed garlic butter with scallions, fresh tomatoes and toasted almonds. What's not to love? Lastly were the rotisserie chicken nachos which were plentiful and hit the spot.As for drinks, two of us ordered their famous mai tais. Definitely my fave but my friends loved them. Also can you believe you can order a 24oz option!? I was a fan of the patron silver margarita and would undoubtedly order that again. We weren't in for more than an hour or two, but certainly enjoyed our time. If I had to guess, it's not the most popular spot for the locals, but tourists thrive here.

It's been a bit but we are back. Scenery beautiful sunset overlooking Lake Geneva Ice shanty's scattered across the lake. Perfect place for an all you can eat fish fry. The batter on each of the filets is hand prepared from scratch then each filet is Hand dipped placed into the fryer to a crispy thin and light with amazing butter milk flavor. The oil in the fry vat must be fresh and clean at the correct temperature. Not undercooked, overcooked, or dripping of oil. Just delicious, Perfectly cooked, served hot, quick and with polite friendly service from Krystyl . This is why it's so easy to return time after time everything is consistently superb.

Great lakeside casual dining in downtown Geneva. It was fun to see the outdoor rotisserie and the inflatable chicken walk through the restaurant. I had the ultimate casamigos margarita, but this was really sweet and undrinkable unfortunately. Our rotisserie chicken nachos were tasty but covered with a huge layer of sticky melted cheese and not much of the other toppings. My salmon ceasar salad was tasty as well but very garlicky. My boyfriend's chicken pesto sandwich was pretty heavy but flavorful. I liked the crispy thick potato pancakes that came with the dish.Overall, portions are huge and food is decently good! Service was great and quick too.

Brisket was more like watered down pot roast. The pot pie was gross, had a grainy texture and the flaky crust was two turnover size crusts. Banquet pot pie is better then this mess. They did take off the cost of my meal and offer me something else. I was not waiting for something else and the pot pie totally turned me off to the food. Charged. 25 cents for a pack of mayonnaise. Really?! The soup was good, the crab ragoon appetizer was excellent. Service was was excellent. But the food was subpar. We have been coming here for years. No more.

My wife and I came here for lunch on our day trip to Lake Geneva. The location was great- right on the lake. We sat outside- which was beautiful but there was a few wasps that kept wanting our drinks. My wife got the lobster flatbread- which was amazing. I got the chicken, which was also very good. I'm glad we both chose the larger portions because we got to have a meal out of it again that night. Decent prices for all the lobster included. And it was so good! We will definitely be back!

We came for some fish and chips. We got the Great Lakes Yellow Perch and a couple of beers. We just arrived for a weekend trip. The place holds about 700 people inside and outdoor dining. Right across the gorgeous waterfront. Definitely a good start.

We went to Popeyes in Lake Geneva for Valentine's Dinner, it did not disappoint!! Server, our Watress Managers Sam, Chelsea and Tyler were Amazing. Food was beyond Good!! Salmon was Great!! The Key Lime Pie was Unbelievable!! Wonderful Valentine's Dinner, not our first time, yet, we will be back!!

Great place to have the family to eat. The service is friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and served hot. The view of the lake is very pleasant.Can't wait to return.
