What a hidden gem. We stopped here early on a Saturday night and it was packed but they seated us right away. We had their Guac which was good. My hub had their chimichangas and I had steak/chorizo tacos. Both excellent. Service was top notch. We were trying to catch a movie at Showplace 14 and we had plenty of time due to their promptness and attention. Will definitely go back.

Excellent Mexican food. I had Enchiladas Mexicanas and my wife had Nachos Grande. Delicious. Exent service too. Highly recommend.

Food was good and the service was good as well. They have shredded cheese on their nachos which is always a plus. Their chips were a highlight.

I love the shrimp tacos. Wait staff is prompt and friendly. The tequila tree is very cool. Nice cozy place to eat.

Food was good. Service was great. Issue I had was charging extra for every request. Jalepeno . is an extra charge and then an extra 4% for using credit card.

I live in the neighborhood so I'm familiar with this place as I've been here many times but not lately. I'm not sure what has changed but right from the start, I ordered diet soda because I didn't want alcohol and server said "no diet soda". Didn't give an explanation. Therefore I ordered water. Then the entree I ordered didn't come with rice or beans which wasn't a big deal so I ordered a plate on the side and was very disappointed. Absolutely no flavor to rice and the beans were completely tasteless too. How disappointing! The flavor of the food has definitely changed and since I live near by, I noticed lately that the number of cars in parking lot have really decreased. I hope management reads reviews because I'd really like to see them be successful since they are a local business. Not sure I will be back.

Excellent food and service. Always top-notch. Big menu to choice from. Something for everyone. My favorite Mexican food in the city.

Not sure why this isn't the number one Mexican restaurant on What Rocks in the Rockford area or at least in the top five...Yougottagetyerassinhere...
