This is the only place I have gone for plants for about 12 years now. I'll look at other places, but I prefer to support this family owned business over a big chain store. There is a large selection of flowers and veggies. Want roses? They have a LOT to choose from. The staff are knowledgeable when you can find them. It's hard to get a hold of someone sometimes because they are always busy assisting customers. They are constantly updating the look and accessibility of the grounds, and this year they have added carts!! This is a huge deal as before you had to carry around your cache of plants until ready to check-out for fear of someone poaching your picks. And a few years back they added a credit card option for payment so no more cash-only purchases. I love the selections and the quality of plants available. And as for prices, I find them to be very reasonable. There is currently construction happening on Howell Ave(isn't there always?) so it is a bit of a pain to navigate to the store when traffic is heavy.

This is a place that has healthy and hearty plants. I like to garden, but I am not a master gardener. Yet, all of my tomatoes, peppers etc survive and thrive when I purchase them at Plant Land. The prices are reasonable and it is locally owned. The same family has owned it for years. They are also knowledgable and helpful when you make selections.

This place is adorable and locally owned. The plant selection is Fabolous a little heavy on the perennials side vs annuals. They had so many different types of tomato, pepper, squash etc plants. Everything looked really healthy and well maintained. The aisle are really tight though think of them as 1 way access dont get stuck in the middle. You can pick up your own garden manure here to (bring your own bucket none on site). But what i think i liked most about this place was the vintage farm parts, water hoses, trellises, etc just laying around decorated its vintage chik at its best. This place is full of obvious love, happy healthy plants. I didnt need assistance but there was people around to who seemed more than helpful to answer questions. Will be back. Thanks plant land.

Not great customer service. I went in to buy some rose bushes and ask about planting and care. The employee told me that the tag says everything I need to know and seemed put out that I was expecting to talk to her about it. She just said the roses are outside, they're right there. I asked whether she knew if any of the climbers were best for novices and she said that they are all the same (which I'm not sure is entirely accurate). She wouldn't even walk to them and talk to me about them. She said her boss knew more but wasn't around. I drove 20 minutes farther each way instead of going to Menards or Home Depot because I heard great things and wanted to support a smaller business, but I've gotten much friendlier helpful assistance with gardening from those places. I don't think I will return. Just an unpleasant experience.

The plants at Plant Land are the best !!! Owners and workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Also love the Plant Land dog !!! I always stock up on Plant Lands's prepackaged Black Gold soil even though I have remnants of it within my pots and gardens from last year. I swear Black Gold is the best even after a year! If you purchase their plants remember to pick up some Black Gold.
