Plank Road Plate + Pour

Our service was excellent. I wish I would have gotten her name. Came in for a late dinner with our daughter. They liked the steak and frites, kind a wished there was another option besides the fries with it. I got the shrimp pasta. Wow. I'm going back just for that pasta. I still think about it. lol. The drinks were just ok. Just standard bar drinks. It's family friendly and had a nice acoustic singer when we came. Dark lighting which I like. Always makes dinner nicer in my opinion. In the summer they have a nice patio/bar area with live music. Which is our jam! Would come again.

We placed an online order for pickup: the po'boy, the crack pasta, and chicken strips. The sandwich and pasta didn't have a lot of flavor, and what flavor it had wasn't great. Just kind of... off? I actually felt awful after eating a quarter of the sandwich and ended up throwing the rest away. The service was fine, the atmosphere was fine. But I was expecting more, since I'd been to Plank Road years ago and it was decent. Kind of a letdown, to be honest.

The atmosphere was the bigger attraction in comparison to the food. As a pub and grill, it is meant to focus more on the atmosphere anyway, so I will give it a higher score based on such. However, in terms of the food, I have to say it was mediocre at best. The mac & cheese tasted like normal pasta, and the caprese flatbread was not what I had expected at all. Caprese is supposed to have fresh mozzarella while the one I had didn't seem to have such, which in turn resulted in the scarcity of cherry tomatoes and basil. The balsamic glaze seemed to be very randomly spreaded. Once again, the atmosphere made up for it, but balancing everything I have to give it a 3 star.

Split a Rueben with my companion. Rueben was very good. Loved the triple fries that came with order. AsMany stated it is very noisy but it is also very busy. Pizzas looked great and can't wait to try it.

Decided to venture out to Depere and after many recommendations I caved and tried this place. It's a bar and grill setting with indoor seating. I sat outside ready to get scorched by the sun and bitten by the mosquitoes. Upon my arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find that the outdoor seating is shaded by big beautiful trees and not a single mosquito in sight!!!It's a perfect setting to sit and sip a bevvy and enjoy some friendly company.Not only is the outdoor patio gorgeous but they have daily drink specials and happy hour, wow! I tried the chicken garlic parm wings and they were so tasty! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crisp.I'm new in town so I HAD to get the cheese curds. This meal did not disappoint!! I will definitely be coming back and trying more of their menu out.Next time you're in town stop by and try the menu, I'm so glad I did (:

Not great food, typical bar fare food. To go is a complete disaster through these guys. Food was cold and unflavored.

Fun atmosphere, great food, bartender was cranky but it was still worth the food. Bar rail customers were kinda friendly but most kept to themselves. Again, great food.

Went here after work to get of their amazing wings. Get the regular bone in wings extra crispy, you'll thank me. The grilled ones are also very good with all their sauces, garlic Parm, mild, and the teriyaki they have is out of this world. Lexi was our bartender and server out in the patio, and I must say, she is amazing!!! Always asking if we needed anything and super super friendly. We hope she is working next time we are there. Top notch!!! A+!

Their latest menu update is a miss. Some of the new dishes do not make sense. $25+ steaks, & appetizers over $12, in the same place as a rowdy Wednesday night dart league / Thursday karaoke just don't work. Granted, the outdoor seating is nice, but that's seasonal. If I'm going to pay that much, I would like a strong (and dare say, local) wine list to go with my steaks, and fish/seafood. While the burgers and wraps are generally good, and the Mac/cheese is consistently good, a lot of menu items went up in price. The nightly specials are okay, but a happy hour menu might counter the new prices.

Took a coworker to lunch here today and was shocked by the bill. The Mac and Cheese was fine but for $13.29 a bowl we both assumed it came with a side like a salad like most pasta dishes so he asked for fries as his side. Apparently it does not come with any side and we were charged $6.29 for an appetizer basket of fries even though it wasn't that big and was brought out with his meal. I also have no idea what the heck the 3% Convenience Fee charge is for? We sat down and dined in so there was no online ordering, or curbside service. I thought the 20% tip was for the "convenience" of having a server take your order and bring you!
