If you get anything from here get the Cheese Curds. It's fried cheese and it's amazing! The cheese comes from Widmer's, a local cheese company. We heard their burgers and pizza were good so we ordered a supreme pizza. It's 5 pounds! It was so good and we found out that all the ingredients are sourced locally. A few warnings which should not deter you from visiting this establishment: it isn't a big place and they have limited seating but they can seat about 6 people comfortably without moving tables around; they have an extremely small staff so you have to be patient (we were there on a Friday evening and in total were there for a little over an hour); their hours are limited during the week so check their hours before you go. A must go to if you're ever in the area!!

Terrific food and terrific people. The fish fry is amazing. The cheese curds are made from cheese factory that is just down the street.

Not impressed. Prime rib was flavorless and a little tough. Waited 40 minutes to get the Cheese curd appetizer and they weren't fully cooked. My salad came 3 minutes before my meal. Soda is sold at $2 per can so if you want a refill it will cost you another $2. Most of the homemade chips were soggy. The bartender tried to pass off rail scotch as top shelf and then took it upon his self to pour me a double on the rocks and charged me $20. When question, he said that since it is the only scotch he serves, it's considered top shelf and he always pours a double without asking. $70 dollars was not worth it. We had gone to Madison the night before and had a wonderful meal of beef stroganoff and pork tenderloin at Buck & Honeys with several drinks and only paid $65. Apparently if you are not a regular local, they try to get the most out of you. They lost us as future customers and we only live 8 miles away.

A wonderfully quaint family run neighborhood pub about 10 minutes off of I-41.We were there for the Friday Fish Fry and were treated to 5 pieces, potato pancakes (or fries), slaw, and rye bread for only $12. The burgers start at $5 and are generously portioned.Great selection of domestic and craft beers on tap, plus many more cans and bottles. Full bar.Worth the detour.

Great homey little place, you can tell it's a local hangout with regulars. The bar was full so we took a table with a view of the Brewers game and on the advice of a friend, ordered the deep fried brick cheese curds. They were served with ranch but it was not needed, these curds are delicious! Light and crispy, not a heavy crumb coating. I'd go back for these alone! Then I was served my main course, a Spicy Bacon Cheeseburger. Three sizes available, I chose the smaller 1/3 lb patty. It was dressed with jalapeno cheddar and jalapeno bacon, thru the garden (very fresh lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion), a bit of mayo and the best grilled beef patty I've had on a burger in awhile! This was all served on a grilled/toasted fresh bun with nice crispy edges. On the side were homemade chips that were also light and crispy and yet a nice softness to the centers and a pickle spear.My hubby chose the Brick Pattymelt served on fresh rye bread. Also with homemade chips and a pickle and says it was equally delicious!I'm not sure how there has not been a review here already because it is certainly a place we plan on frequenting!

Great cheese curds. Friendly people. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich and loved it. I ordered the grilled cheeseburger and it was delicious. The bread and chips were awesome. I added mushrooms to the burger which I would do again. Owner is so nice. Definitely will be back!! And of course they have spotted cow which is the best beer ever!!!

Everything's amazing particularly for the price. I saw one negative review from Tim and instantly knew it was fake... everything we had came out great. Will be back.

Very delicious!! workers are nice and polite and darts to play there! definitely would recommend stopping here and getting food!

Horrible service, terrible atmosphere, perch taste like freezer burned garbage. Chicken tastes like fish that's been sitting out in the sun for 2 days, every time I eat their pizza I get stomache issues / diarrhea for 2 days afterward. Great place to go if you know the owner or don't plan on eating. Overpriced food, shit drinks, argumentative, disrespectful, negligent staff, bathrooms that rarely have paper towels to dry your hands, toilet / urinal that flushes if your lucky, and if you arent there 5 times a week, you will be the last served and have to go to the bar for service. I've been there multiple times, sat at a table, ordered appetizers then watch 4 other groups of people come in, order appetizers, drinks, and entres and we're served everything before I even got my appetizers which were not thoroughly cooked, cold and the last time I went there, all 3 of our parties entres were inedible terrible. Better off passing this place and spending $10 on a frozen pizza. ​

This place Is very good very kid friendly the best cheese curds in the world and the owner is awesome and the sun drop is awesome
