Nice store and people, thank you. But PLEASE stop making us wait for not one, but two! receipts. Completely unnecessary and so wasteful. If you insist, please ask if we need it first... it makes me cringe every time and I don't want to dismiss the nice kids who tend to run the cash register. The businesses in this town could do the world a favor by at least TRYING to reduce their carbon footprint. It's like it's 1985 around here!

Ok. So I am a city girl married to a Mid western good ol' boy!BUT I LOVE THE PIG!!!Never did I know that this was a REAL Supermarket and not something I always saw on Mama's Fmaily! It's your usual supermarket with fresh produce and dairy. But this was my first sighting of a Beer closet. No, not really a closet but a fricking BEER HALL inside the store! It was awesome! Here I stock up on Sun Drop Pop, Brats and Old Milwaukee beer! I even bought Piggly Wiggly T shirts to bring home to family! SHOP THE PIG! (i have my own saving card! heehee)

The employees are extremely friendly and are always willing to help. The store is kept clean and is easy to navigate. They don't always have every little thing I need but they have the basics and are usually running decent sales. They have a large selection of adult beverages and a really nice deli (their cold salads are delicious!). I moved to Edgerton from a much bigger city, with a much bigger grocery chain, but the Pig has the necessities and that's good enough for me!

Really like Piggly Wiggly's and choose them as a store. Unfortunately, the one in Edgerton has decided to put in self service check out. They still have two lanes but no body there. Hey management, provide service. If you cannot find employees, pay better. I will avoid this store in the future.

Used to love shopping Piggly Wiggly/Edgerton. They had a great deli & most of the employees were friendly & helpful. However recently (April 2020), a cashier was extremely rude. Attempted to contact management twice, & no response was ever received, so they must condone it. My brother will no longer shop there because of it. Had groceries, ready to check out & selected $20,00 cash back. The cashier stated & I quote "This isn't a GD Bank, you know." He told her to keep the groceries, & that he would drive to Janesville, & go to Woodman's instead. She was/is old enough to know better (greying hair) middle aged & there is no excuse for that behavior in customer service. Completely uncalled for. Unfortunately 1 rotten employee spoiled the barrel. Was close to home, & shopped the Pig frequently, no more after that though. They lost a good customer, not that they care (sadly, showed that via no response).

I like it, good deals here and there to supplement a lot of our shopping. Friendly employees and a clean store.

Most of the workers are very nice and helpful. It's a typical grocery store, but....Prices are high. Produce is often dried up and/or old.Older deli workers strengthen the small town stereotypes. They had given us the smallest pieces of fried chicken she could find. We placed the order and finished up our shopping while the batch was cooking. Lady had packed it up nicely for us and had us thinking how nice she was. When we got home, however, we found out why she had quickly packed it up for us. EVERY single piece, out of the 8 piece order was small. And I don't just mean a little smaller than usual. The drumsticks were the size of a bar style chicken wing, the thighs were literally the same size as the drumstick with just a little more width. The breast was nearly all bone.Pretty sure this wasn't a coincidence considering that IF she had any sense of decency, she would probably to think to herself and say: "Hmmm, this is probably their lunch, I should at least give them one or two decent pieces since there's 40 other large pieces I just pulled out of the oven". The thighs were what really enraged me. How could you purposely choose 2 of the smallest thighs out of that full batch and give them both to one customer?I'm sure if I wasn't a commuter and was Edgerton born, I would've received the best pieces or at least, one that didn't make McDonalds Mighty Wings look GOOD.
