It's a small, only game in town, well-stocked grocery store which means high prices. Excellent fried chicken at the deli. And try Aunt Em'a potato salad. They have Lefse!Super nice staff. They have paper bags if you prefer them over plastic. Great weekly specials. There is a video rental machine and local billboard at the entrance. Works

My wife and I have purchased a house outside of town. Now that I have retired from the Army and we have been in several countries and states in the 21 years I'm very pleased with this small town grocery store. My wife loves the variety in the store and the staff. The deli is one of the best we have gone to.

I love this little store. You can purchase small portions of deli items such as corned beef and cabbage, pot roast, sausage/peppers, tuna casserole, etc. at decent prices. They also sell the cute piggly wiggly t-shirts and sweatshirts (something that is not offered at every piggly wiggly). Prices are comparable to stores in larger cities and shelves are fully stocked. The only drawback is I wish they would expand for the store does have narrow aisles and somewhat hard to maneuver. Other than that great store and cashiers have always been friendly.

This place is awful. Don't try to get chicken there at dinner time and the deli people wont make more. Their prices are frequntly wrong so you have to check everything against your receipt. Checkout staff is rude. It stinks like cigarettes back by the meat counter. The produce is usually nasty too. They're the only game in town and they know it so tgey don't care about customer comments.

This is a great little hometown store. They have fresh produce, and deli, a wonderful selection of specialty cheese and salads, and just about everything you can ever want on your grocery list. The prices are right in line, and often lower than driving to a bigger store in Portage.
