I love this Metro Mart and usually have a great experience. I don't know what is going on but this is the second time this year my peaches (I think) brought home fruit flies. The first time was just fruit flies (I could see them in the store) but I went a few days ago and not only were there fruit flies. There were some tiny black jumping bugs attacking the bananas. I wouldn't recommend not shopping there. Just soap and water to clean fruits and veg. I normally use a vinegar spray and rinse. Unfortunately, fruit flies REALLY like vinegar, LOL. Sorry, no photos. They are really fast!

Currently a 30 minute line. Two registers are open and six are unmanned. The self check out stretches to the other side of the store. Total mismanagement of staff resources. People sit around on their asses while lines are 30 minutes long. For the manager: good leaders, fill in when you're understaffed. there are other places to shop and you just lost $800 a month in revenue. Service matters.

It's clean- it's efficient - it's better now that it's owned by Kroger- you see the difference a bit and I expect more will be noticeable over time. Produce is good, nice fruit line up with variety. Meat section is good but pricey. Bakery is so so.People are supper nice but tend to be passive a bit- seems to be changing.

I seriously hate this store. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not a mean person at all. I have to be honest, though, and say that I avoid this store whenever possible, and I shop here only when it is convenient and when I am buying just the basic groceries. Why, you ask? While their prices are better than Piggly WIggly, you have to check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING. Especially dairy. The items I have purchased that were discovered to be expired later:Pancake mix in a can (refrigerated in dairy section) - 2 months expired. Told store manager - Still on the shelves a week later!!!Milk - Often close to expiring.Shallots - Covered in mold. God only knows how old. Also, the produce department has a lot of shotty looking stuff. Really ugly quite often.Oh, and the meat department literally never has a person behind the counter to help you. I have utterly given up on complaining about this one. And the store manager, Gary, is rude about it. Not that the meat is even worth buying anyway, their steaks are always tough.I have called P'n'S corporate twice to complain. Want to know what changed? they put a doorbell on the meat counter, which upon ringing had no effect on the customer service... Nobody heard it, nobody came around the corner to wait on me.SO! I will continue to buy potato chips, dry pasta and canned soup from this store. That's about it.

I did not like this store very much when I moved into town, but I got used to it. I like this store for the meats, beer, and whatever happens to be on sale at the time. The beer selection is good (for a grocery store), and they have the "build your own 6 pack" with a decent selection. I bake and grill a lot of meat, and there is usually something on sale for a reasonable price. I like the quality of their beef and pork chops, but their chicken is just ok. Produce here sometimes lacks quality, but usually I can find good veggies to make whatever I'm in the mood for.The main downside to this location (as well as the other Oconomowoc one) is the lack of checkout lanes open. I do not want to wait 20 minutes in line to purchase a full shopping cart here because of this... I usually just buy a day or two's worth of groceries and do the self-checkout. I guess this only works for me because I drive right by on my way home from work.

I have been going here since I moved here 20 years ago. I was here last week and this place is absolutely disgusting The shelves that our food is on are filthy. The selection was next to nothing and empty shelves were littered with old moldy food, dust, dirt and god knows what else. We left and went to Sendiks. Metro market is much better but Sendiks will probably get all or at least most of my money. Always people standing around, especially the kids, they couldn't be any lazier. Whoever is managing this place would get the ax in my book. Never going back

I just got home from the Pick n Save Wisconsin ave. We are regular customers but enough is enough. The checkouts were still closed at 6 45am and the store opens at 6 am. So the Manager at the desk told us to use the Self Checkout. Never using this payment method before and having over $150 in groceries was not our first choice. Anyway of course nobody to help us we progressed until we were stuck with a few items which would not scan. The Manager came over with an attitude and proceeded to kick the 24 pack of water back under the shopping cart. When I told her the Piggly Wiggly did not treat customers this way she told me to go shop there then. Fair enough if that's the way of things we will go else where. Wal Mart and Woodman's will be our first choice in future

In the past two months, I have been at Pick n Save Pharmacy several times. Every time I have been there the female blonde pharmacy technician wears a blue and white paper mask below her nose every time. Could management please ask her to wear her mask probably and at all times? If this is not resolved soon, I will be changing pharmacies.

Nice store rude employees, and off duty employees who tear customers rudely. Whispering and laughing at customers. Many other stores take your business to them, manger not in control here.
