Service was inexistent, variety was VERY poor and really had not much to offer at least when I visit the place meaning I don't think Id come back

Fun deli with a great selection of basic deli favorites as well as some unique items too. Not for the gluten intolerant!

We go there often, my experience has been NOTHING like what it was 6 years ago. They rarely run out of buns now.... My new favorite... the everything bun with my hot ham! I recommend this place.

This is another place that I have been looking at for a while now but with so little food pictures I haven't been in a hurry so today I decided that a Steve stop by was in order. The place is definitely unique because it's a convenince store, liquor store, deli, bakery, small pizza restaurant, sub shop, dry cleaners and a laundry mat. The convince store also has a small sit down area in the front windows if you want to eat in. I was torn between the fried chicken and the Italian special with the Italian special winning because I'm a sucker for Italian subs. The Italian special sounded good with capppacolla ham, coteghino bologna, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions, salt, oregano and oil. The have racks of fresh breads behind the counter which is a good sign. If you want the fried chicken it's cooked to order and takes about 20 minutes I was told. The hot ham and rolls is the Sunday thing to get here I'm told but I'm not into that Wisconsin tradition but I bet the house made rolls are what makes it popular here.The sub is made to order with fresh toppings I noticed and I grabbed an apple fritter to go.My first bite was like wow this is really good fresh bread with a creamy flavor and that nice little chew in the crust which reminds me of Cousin's bread. The Italian sub was was tasty with all the fresh ingredients and bread and I'm glad that I chose it. The glazed apple fritter was also good but around 1pm on a Sunday the donut selection was very slim and bordered on selling out but I got the last good donut in the case.This is a truly nice find and too bad it's not in my neighborhood where I could be a regular customer but I definitely have to get back and try the fried chicken.

THE BEST ham and rolls in the area..bar none. Once you have enjoyed their freshly baked rolls, you will not consider any others. There is also a tasty fish fry available on certain days (check website for latest info), with decent potato pancakes or abundant French fries.

I saw this place driving by and it made me wonder, whatever happened to White Hen Pantry? I guess 7-11 bought out the competition with better coffee back in 2007. I remember passing up 7-11s because the White Hen Pantry coffee was better. This was back when coffee was under a buck, so maybe this part of the review belongs in the museums of ancient history YELP section. This former WHP became an independent family run joint with great Wisconsin style ham and rolls, or roast beef and rolls. I'm kind of odd, being a transplant I suppose, in that I want something healthy with fiber on the side for the hot ham and rolls dinner but they only have a choice of potato salad sides. You can also pick up cheap liquor, beer (I wouldn't touch the wines here), and various sundries. Actually I'm not sure what sundries are, but they don't have the selection that White Hen had, on the other hand the prices are much more reasonable for what they do have. Lotto tickets available and there's some tables to eat at here.

I love the fresh, hot, buttery rolls. They are the best! I am not a ham love, but my husband loves the ham. It is a Sunday tradition! If you Cammy wait until you get home to eat, there is a little sitting area to eat a roll!

Stopped for hot ham and roast beef and rolls. Was pleasantly surprised, better roast beef than Canfora. Will definitely be back.
