Perkup Elkhorn

I stop here whenever I am near Elkhorn. Chai tea ( loose leaves) is my drink of choice and they always have it available. A great location on the square and within walking distance of a host of businesses as well as the county court house. Back for the 2018 summer season and have been in to get reacquainted.OK IT IS 2019 and we are back for our specialty beverages. A great place to stop in rural atmosphere. Will wonders never cease? I love latte's but whole milk does not like me, as I am lactose intolerant. Leave it to the dairy industry to produce a new milk, a2, and this dairy family run coffee shop to have it on hand. A2 milk has a component removed (a1) which makes the milk digestible for lactose intolerant humans that otherwise would have gastrointestinal distress. Isn't science wonderful. Just ask for a2 for a of your favorite drinks. It doesn't get any better than this. Perkup also caters coffee service et el to groups in the area and delivers. Open, friendly and offers great drinks and snacks. It is the family owned small business to patronize in downtown Elkhorn. Stop in, right on the square, if you need help finding you way around this compact, full service, county seat.

The only thing that Tops the coffee drinks are the amazing people at Perkup Coffee. We moved to another state and the coffee is so good that we actually have it mailed to us periodically. They use the premier fair trade Colectivo brand. My personal favorite is Blue Healer. Devon and Laurie are the best!

I have been stopping here for coffee now for the past 5 plus years and I would never go anywhere else. They serve Colectivo and Door County Coffees which is the finest coffee in my opinion for coffee connoisseurs. The shop always elicits great conversations with regular customers in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. It's always the best way to start off my day with a positive experience.

Great coffee and healthy snacks. Bring some thing to do or work on the puzzles they have set up!! I had the Butternut Crunch coffee just coffee. Nothing in it. Good beans. The folks there were also very friendly. My mom had the coffee cake muffin and she said it was very good.

Stopped by because we saw this menu on yelp, my daughters can't digest dairy and this picture of the menu posted 14 days ago indicated that they offered soy and almond milk as an alternative to milk. When we arrived we were told they do not offer those, because the woman behind the counter is a dairy farmer, and doesn't believe in supporting non dairy options. I absolutely support anyone having their views, and expressing their support...however this woman was actually kind of rude...and I felt assumed a political position when we just asked for dietary reasons. Perhaps the menu picture that offers non dairy should be removed, to prevent this experience from happe ing again. Had we known we would not have come there.

Not only did we get coffee from Laurie but when my co-workers and I were in a jam she came to our rescue. The coffee was delicious and she had to whip out 17 drinks for us. Laurie was more than accomodating and made us feel welcomed in Elkhorn.

Spent 8 dollars on a mobile order just for them to not even be open when it said online they were open until 2 and it was 5 minutes past the pick up time wish i couldve at least gotten a refund and i wouldnt have even cared but now i just wasted money

I moved back to Walworth County in 2021 after 45 years and reconnected with one of my closest friends from high school. We need there regularly as this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy our time catching up with each other.Devin is the best for helping you decide what drink you may want to try. Their variety of choices are wonderful and you can't go wrong with any choice you make.Check them out, you won't regret it.

The service is great ! Very knowledgeable. Able to guide and explain what I could and couldn't have because of multiple food allergies. Cute gift stuff. Very relaxing friendly atmosphere. They make you feel like a old friend. The coffee is always amazing.

Their website clearly states they have soy, almond, and coconut milk....we were told otherwise when we arrived.They only offer A2 milk as a "dairy free" alternative, A2 is not diary free as it is made from real milk. As someone who cannot have ANY form of milk (lactose free or A2), I did not appreciate being told that they don't offer dairy free because they "don't believe" in milk alternatives. Sorry my body cannot digest it, just wanted a latte. Will never go here again.
