Perc Place

Stopped here last weekend to grab a coffee and a pastry to go on our way up to Oshkosh, upon my mom's suggestion. There are two doors to get into Perc Place; one for the coffee shop side and one for the cafe side, which makes it easy to get in and grab a coffee and go. They've got plenty of quirky decor to spot as you wait for your drink. The shop has a cutesy small town feel, as it's located in downtown Hartford. I was happy to see they had a few seasonal drinks to choose from, such as a White Christmas mocha and a Gingerbreadman drink (with vanilla chai and gingerbread). I opted for the iced Sugar Cookie latte with almond, vanilla and marshmallow syrups. Coffee shop regulars will recognize the Monin syrup they use to craft different flavored drinks. They've got a pretty wide variety to choose from if you want to make your own combination, ranging from apple to blackberry and hibiscus to mango. They also had a few pastries made in-house such as a moist blueberry scone that my mom ordered, and a massive and decadent double chocolate muffin sourced from Elegant Farmer. If I lived nearby, I'd count this as a solid local spot.

The food is great. The interior is decorated with memorable and one of a kind theme.A very pleasant visit and outing.

Came here on the recommendation of a Facebook group. I used to work in the area so I was familiar with Perc Place but only as a coffee shop, not a full restaurant. I went for a late lunch hoping to miss the crowds but it was still pretty busy, which isn't a bad thing. The food was very tasty but that Mac and cheese has me wanting to go back. Hartford is really becoming a fun hotspot for restaurants with Perc Place anchoring that movement. Next time I am in the area, I will be back to try other food items.

Perc Place caught my eye because of their unique mozzarella triangles, which are basically just big mozzarella sticks in triangle shape. Their typical hours aren't conducive to stopping at night, so I stopped on the way home from dinner at another restaurant in Hartford because they happen to be open on a Friday night. I ordered mozzarella triangles and a blue moon ice rage to go.I'm not sure what kind of cheese is in the mozzarella triangles, but I wasn't a fan of it. Thankfully the marinara had a strong flavor that I enjoyed so I used that to mask the flavor of the cheese.Before ordering the blue moon ice rage I asked if it contained alcohol or coffee. The hostess had to check on the coffee part, but she said no it didn't contain either alcohol or coffee and was sort of like an ice cream blended drink. I went ahead and ordered it and got to my car before I tried it. To me, I thought I tasted coffee/cappuccino/espresso and, to a less important extent, it was more green than blue. I went back in and talked to the hostess and another person that I assume was the manager. They assured me it didn't have coffee in it, but offered to make me a different flavor ice rage. I couldn't tell if the second one was vanilla or something like the cream part of cookies and cream, but it's along those lines. Oddly, I felt like I still tasted a hint of coffee, though not as much as in the blue moon one.

After having a great meal at Perc Place (we waited a long time to be served) with 3 of my girlfriends, my husband and I decided to go there for breakfast. The place is so quaint & beautifully decorated for Christmas! We made a reservation & we were greeted & seated immediately. The menus we received did not have their breakfast items so we waited for breakfast menus. After waiting again, we ordered a soda & a latte. The caramel mocha latte was good but barely warm. We ordered our food & waited a long time again. When the food finally came, my husband asked for syrup for his pancakes. No one ever came back to check on us. He ate my English muffin & my side of potatoes. I was hungry & I'm not a picky eater so I ate my NOT poached medium eggs and my NOT crispy corned beef hash. When we paid I asked the hostess if she knew my husband was unable to eat his pancakes bc he never received syrup. The reason I'm writing this review is bc she never responded. No sorry about that - or we took that charge off the bill - just no response at all. I understand restaurants are most often understaffed & understand mistakes happen. However, a simple apology would've made all the difference. We will not return.

A local breakfast spot in Hartford WI that has a cozy, family living room like ambience, with tons of breakfast options, a full coffee bar and cocktail options too.I was hesitant to come here after reading reviews that the employees were not wearing masks, but when I came in I noticed every employee had one on!Below is the food we ordered:- chicken and waffles; I wouldn't order again, the chicken was extremely greasy. I'd only do the waffle!- breakfast burrito; this was good!- Mayan mocha coffee; this was also really good.The prices were really great for what you got too. I think I'd come back but try something new like their French toast.

Service was great. Food was pretty underwhelming. I had the crab cake Benedict and it seemed like 2 frozen, overly breaded cakes. Just dense and greasy-- nothing "fresh" feeling about it. The sides of fruit were good with a honey glaze. Again-- very nice people and great service but wouldn't come back cuz of the food.

Always a wide variety of traditional foods and the weekly specials are amazing. If you are a coffee lover, they have anything and can customize it to your hearts desire. We love going here after church for brunch. The petition sizes are great and we usually bring home leftovers for the next day.

We hosted my sister's bridal shower here and have nothing but great things to say! They added so many touches to make it feel special. They were very accommodating of requests and worked closely with me to make sure the decor, food menu, etc was what we wanted. Thank you for such a great experience!

Great drinks, great atmosphere, realistic serviceHaven't tried all the food yet, the flavors are pretty good so far, I've mostly stuck to the brunch side of it with a coffee or some hot drink, so far so good. Would like to meet the new owner though sometime.
