Penn Avenue Pub

I am not much of a bar person and our work holiday party was held there. I thought it was very nice inside and my boss is a bartender there. I loved the atmosphere of the bar. The owner was super welcoming. The food was so delicious. Dustin makes the best comfort food. So much so that as I drank I wanted more. Kudos to Dustin on the awesome food. StaceyAnn and Doug made it very welcoming. The music was hopping and the group I was with had so much fun!!! Will definately suggest this bar to the people who are looking for some good. The food was so delicious.

Great bar with awesome food. Super clean, bartenders are very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Fabulous menu, be sure to get the hangover soup, amazing!

This little place is in a nice old building in downtown Sheboygan and just looks like one of the many little bars in every town in WI. When we called in our order the ditzy bartender got so flustered that she had to call in her boss from home to actually make our food. This worried us. There is no real kitchen to speak of. It is just a galley behind the bar. This also worried us.The surprise was that the food was really good. I had a delicious panini, others in my group had burgers, mozz sticks, waffle fries, etc. It was all really good.So check it out if you are in Sheboygan sometime.

Food was good, service was good.Problem: They charge you non-happy hour prices for beverages dranken during happy hour but paid for during non-happy hour (i.e. if you have a tab going) so don't start a tab, just pay as you go.Problem: They have different prices for the appetizers on the table menus and the regular menus. Sadly, they default to the higher price which is very misleading.Fix those two things and I would probably eat there twice a month easily.

Really like the business, just wish there was more physical room. Some people like the intimacy, and don't get me wrong I love intimacy, just not that close. Great food, great service, a great owner, great drinks, and fun crowd, I'm just a big guy and need some space!

For a neighborhood pub, this is as good as it gets. Clean, great owner, great people to chat with, and TV's everywhere! Throw in some excellent steak sandwiches, reasonably priced food and drinks, and you have a great place to watch a game or just hang out. Lots of fun!
