Pedal and cup has a cutsy little storefront at an entry point to a very well-kept biking/ walking trail. My family and I brought our bikes out here for a laid back ride and finished the day with ice cream from the shop! The bike path is made of gravel and is pretty flat. It's well shaded from the trees overhead. Pro tip- the ride back is slightly downhill which makes it soo much easier!! The inside of the shop carries all sorts of gifts and gadgets made from local artists and they also have a food stand with some sandwiches and sides, along with ice cream from a local creamery!

Such a cool sleepy place to come visit and ride your bike! We want for a nice bike ride on the trail nearby and then we stopped to check out the store and cool off with some ice cream. I ordered a junior purple moon ice cream and it was so good! The ice cream was very creamy and the cotton candy was so good! They even topped it with some whipped cream which was a nice finish! If I come biking here again Id love to try this flavor again or try something else! The staff working was also very friendly and we didnt have to wait too long for our ice cream.

This spot is awesome! The ice cream is out of this world, the staff is very pleasant. Coffee and tea is very good too! We enjoyed a pit stop on our bikes. The best part is that they are free of COVID bullshit!!!! Good for you guys!!!! We will definitely be back here again!

This place is adorable! Smoothies are delicious!! The employees are super friendly! You can rent bikes and pay when you are done! You need $5 passes for the trail though which you can conveniently buy at Pedal and Cup. We bikes around 6 miles. Trails were well kept and an easy ride.

What a nice and quaint little place. We saw quite a few ads for the place so we thought we would check it out during our vacation in Lake Geneva away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This place was so refreshing! We first rented bikes for an hour and took a ride on the trail that goes right past it. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere but that's so refreshing sometimes. After our ride, we came back and there were two guys pickin' and playing on the front porch. We went in and ordered a sandwich and smoothie. We had the sandwich special of the day, turkey with a cranberry mayo, made from scratch. It was so delicious! We sat outside in a gliding rocker and listed to the guys play some old songs. We went inside and looked around the place at all of the little trinkets and antiques they have on display for sale. Such a great little place and the owners are so nice! They were so kind to us and chatted our ears off. We highly recommend you give it a try.

What a gem of a place. Start, break or end your White River Trail bike ride here with a tasty sandwich. In a world of franchise blah this is the real thing - a delightful, quirky, eclectic cafe and store in the historic Depot building in Springfield. Everything's prepared fresh for you and the homestyle sandwich menu offers some delicious surprises and specials. Most of all, go for the atmosphere and the care with which the owners run and maintain this unique spot. Need to rent a bike? They have those, too. Sit outside or inside and just e-n-j-o-y.So far I've sampled the chicken salad (yum!) - the brat (fine) - a pulled pork sandwich (delish) and a turkey wrap with added zing of cranberry. Tastes home-made - simple, unpretentious fare - but GOOD. And the venue is a WINNER. We'll be back - and telling everyone we know to come here.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Quaint. It's the perfect word to describe this one. It's a nice little place to go if you have nothing to do on a weekend. They rent out quality bikes for the family (even double bikes!) and at a low rate, too! They have snacks and drinks and random things to decorate your house with and they little old lady and man that run the shop are just adorable! Please, don't tell anyone I said 'adorable.' Just go there...it's fun, and the trail is pretty awesome. There was also live music happening today! 5 out of 5 stars!

This is one of our favorite discoveries this spring!! We met some friends for a walk along the White River State Trail (which I also highly recommend for walking/running/biking) and it just so happens that the Pedal & Cup is situated right next to the trail and the state trail parking. After our walk, we stopped in for a cup of coffee and we were so happy to find a really good one! The new owners have partnered with a local roaster and the coffee was seriously good. So good, we came back the next day for another one. The state trail that runs by this place is a former railroad corridor and the shop is in the old train depot. (The building is really well maintained but no heat so it is closed in the winter.) They also have ice cream, snacks, and some fun shopping inside. And there's plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy! We will for sure be back this summer.

I found Pedal and Cup on the internet while searching for fun things to do with family. Living in Illinois, I never would have heard about it. We all give you 5 stars!!! Your store was welcoming, your service and hospitality was unbeatable. It makes me proud to live in the midwest. No where in America can you beat midwestern hospitality and I have traveled all over the 50 states and world!! Our lunch was delicious and you were so helpful with the bike rentals. Thanks for making our day!!!
