Came to this farm as it seemed they were growing a variety of vegetables and we were in the area! The family immediately came out and was so, so kind - told us what they had and we were pleasantly surprised he had the freshest snap peas! We picked way more than were necessary but they were just that perfect - slightly sweet and crunchy! He was also really friendly and kind to those visiting, explaining the process of growing each vegetable and his successes/challenges over the last season, and was just really open to answering questions and having a conversation. We will definitely come back!

I really love the owners and trust their food is clean, I mean pesticide free and all the other toxin- free, they respect and love mother earth and the animals they raise, they don't gouge prices, just charge what it's costing them to grow and raise it. Very respectable family with integrity. Not found very often these days. Thank you for your hard work. "heart" Please support the small local family farmers, what you buy in the grocery stores is full of toxic chemicals, carcinogenic food coloring, flavors and preservatives, which is why you are so sick. The things you eat and feed your family has everything to do with your well being. Supporting the good farmers, who grow without chemicals, also support your own longevity. Everything you put in your mouth influences your hair, skin, eyes, your every organ and every cell, your immune system. Eating produce from a small farm, grown in nutrient rich soil, makes the food full of nutrients, it is actually "healing" your body. The more stuff you buy from grocery stores (highly processed, genetically modified, often full of bad bacteria, and they don't recall anything until they get at least a 100 calls of poisoning First, gosh forbid they lose the profits, enough people have to get sick for them to even take action, profits before lives) peanut butter, chicken, pork, lettuce, eggs, they are always recalling something, because it comes from farms deuced with chemicals and chemical resistant bacteria, because they are used to and become resistant to the antibiotics, the pesticides, the herbicides etc, Do you know that these chemicals affect your children's brain and intelligence, they also cause you to become forgetful and suffer from brain fog, have frequent migraines and headaches. Just the beginning of the effects of the toxins.Do you want to be the one of the first 100 to get sick? They use fear mongering to scare people from shopping at small farmers, but it is the corporate franken farms that are the most dangerous. Small local farms grow the food first for their own family and they care that their food is clean, they are good, honest, hard working people and they want to share their food because they are Proud of it, they want you to come back for years to come. I highly recommend this farm because I ALREADY know their produce and everything they sell, it is top quality, honestly better than other farms, but if it is too far for you... Go to: "eat local grown", "weston a. price foundation", or "farm match dot com" to find farmers with integrity, near you and in your state. Also check out: https://www.realmilk.com/farm-directory/wpbdp_category/on-farm-retail/wpbdm-region/illinois/You are the boss in your family and you decide if your family will be suffering, or thriving from now on. God Bless

I want to say my wife and I love Patyk Farms and we love John, Myra and Johnny. You want to talk about one of the hardest jobs in the world but one of the most rewarding? The blood sweat and tears of owning a farm. It shows who they are as human beings. I watched my grandparents, my mom, aunts, uncles and cousins work farms and work their fingers to the bone and see the same love from this place. John and Myra treat you like family. Come out and see for yourselves. They just ask that you be careful, watch your kids, respect their land, and their property as it is a working farm, and be part of the Patyk family!

NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN, DANGEROUS VOLTAGE FENCES THAT ARE NOT MARKED!!So sad... yesterday we visited this farm and my nephew was electrocuted by an unmarked electric cattle fence maybe 5 minutes into us arriving. The owner didn't warn us when we arrived, though we asked if it was okay to walk around. There were no signs on the fences that were electric versus the ones that were not. They were so rude to us - blaming us and mostly my sister's parenting for the accident, even though my mom, sister and I were all right next to him and we too were oblivious to the fact that some fences were electric. They were more concerned with getting rid of us then making sure he was okay. My nephew is 1.5 years old and was trying to pet the goats on the other side of the fence..like any other little boy would. They advertised their animals & had pictures of people petting goats on their website as an "attraction".So so disappointed in this. My nephew will be okay. It was hard to get the owners to give us any information as they were being so defensive and dismissive but they had no idea how much voltage/amperage was running through their fence so his doctor is having his parents keep a close eye on him for now.Hopefully this will get the owners of the farm to mark their fences properly and be responsible business owners in the future! This was by NO means my sister's, my or my mom's fault. It makes me beyond disappointed that the male owner pointed the finger at us as a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, and as customers on THEIR shortcoming to keep their customers (especially children) safe!
