Parker John's BBQ & Pizza - Menasha

Have been here several times with varying degrees of success. Most of the time everything is pretty good. Sometimes, you will get a bad experience possibly with poor service or food quality. I guess it's a hit or miss for me. when it's good. It's very good and when it's not. It's not very good.

I am a HUGE fan of Parker John's....the burnt tips, brisket, cornbread, generously sized salads, Mac & cheese...it's all so good. My only regret is that I don't live near one so I make it a goal to swing by anytime I'm in the area because this level of quality bbq at these prices can't be found in bigger cities. FYI: they now have a surcharge for credit card payment. I wasn't told in advance before I swiped my card and saw the extra charge after.

Excellent food and service! My husband forgot his hat. He called the next day and they had it for him.

I was kind of skeptical of going there to eat at first. Because finding a place with good BBQ is a job in it's self. But my reward for going was to get abundance of excellent BBQ FOOD. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful looking around the inside was great. Our waitress were really nice and friendly. They checked on you a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. Needless to say I have been back to get more of their wonderful food May of times now. Don't take my word for it go ahead and enjoy it yourself.

Just want to update review. This was for the location in OshKosh. I trust all of the Parker John's are excellent. Hope our server, Miriam gets some recognition from management for her super service.

Maybe if the food wasn't a day or two old and reheated it would have been better but I won't ever find out because I won't go back.

This is a legit BBQ spot. Slow and low fosho! Friendly staff, great music, and delicious meats. A variety of sauces from Kansas City sweet to spicy Pineapple Habanero. Great location with plenty of parking. Don't forget to take some sauce home, they don't make it like this store bought. Enjoy!!

Service was good. Got the endless ribs. They were ok, but way overcooked. Good flavor, but cooked til they were mushy.

Been here a dozen times but today was really bad. Bloody Mary was 'sweet', no spice, more like watery, sweet tomato juice. But what really was disappointing was the service. Asked for a glass of water 3 times and never got it. Husband ordered a Reuben but when it came out it had Turkey on it. Asked the waitress about and she said we have 2 Reubens, but she never asked him when he ordered whicb one he wanted and acted aggravated about it. Brought out the correct sandwich without a side. Seriously. Might stick to the other locations after this visit.

Love the wings, love the Mac and cheese, the ribs though... I've had the ribs a good few times but they always come out dry like my last conversation on a dating app. When the food is good it is the best but along with that a restaurant needs good service to go along with it.
