Vegetarian Panizza and soda for lunch. About $7 makes it a great value.

I stopped in here and tried the signature Panino and boy was I disappointed. It was straight out of the menu from a short haul airline. Three pieces of salami, two pieces of cheese and four pieces of lettuce. Very plain and generic with no sauce. I felt like this is a wannabe Subway that doesn't even come close to competing. The bread was fresh and tasted good the only highlight. I did not try any other food but based on this experience I won't be back.

They have made me immensely happy, they have listened and returned the coveted strips of cheese. I don't believe the one on state street has done so, but that's ok. I will drive up to main to get my fix. Their panizzas make me happy when made right! Welcome back Panino's to my lunchtime rotation!

First off this review is for the Panino's inside the BMO Harris Center or where the Rockford Icehogs play. I am pretty sure that this location is affiliated with all other locations in the Rockford market but I could be wrong. Having not had a Panino sandwich in quite sometime I decided to try one at the Icehogs /Grand Rapids game Saturday night. It was awful and a waste of $6.00 plus a dollar for extra marinara sauce. Total bill I believe was $7.00 or there of.Needless to say I was very disappointed in both the product and the individuals who were serving the food. My sandwich was a Panizza which I believe was pizza cheese on top of marinara sauce and sprinkled with sausage on top of their famous baked bread.Cheese was not melted and clumpy. Sausage was randomly strewn over the bread and spotty at best and marinara sauce was scarce. Sandwich was awful. To make matters worse the employee was caught eating while she was getting my sandwich out of some type of heating compartment. Now this might sound petty but for years I was involved in food service involving Stadiums and Arenas throughout the USA. I will bet the number one reason Panino's is at the BMO Harris Center is for exposure, name recognition and sampling! With that being said they pay a premium to be there! You can't have people violating Health care standards and serving food that is not similar to what is being served in their brick and mortar stores. My personal experience having tried their food it is not working. I know for a fact the food in their restaurants is much better than what they serve at the games. How do I know this? I went to their store after Mondays game and the food was significantly better and I did not have to worry about employees not washing their hands and eating while serving customers. My advise to Panino's is improve your brand image and product and more customers will come to your regular locations.

Tried Panino's tonight because it's relatively close to my current home. I got a pepperoni panizza and some cheesy garlic bread for my first time here.I was very disappointed with what I ordered. For being a place that's all about their bread, it's really too sweet for pizza/garlic oriented things. It probably would be okay with a normal sandwich, but I hated my panizza and garlic bread. If you're craving something pizza oriented, try something else. I went through the drive-through and my service was okay.

box brand lasagna noodles, cheap ricotta and a spoon of sauce, is NOT lasagna. The best part is this complete disappointment of a dish can be purchased at two different restaurants within a stones throw of the N. Main location that are far better for less money.

****The location I went to was 2725 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61103***Not sure why review says differently. I got the special salad with garlic bread. I went to eat and realized the salad didn't have any dressing. This was my first time ordering food from them so I immediately called and asked was the dressing suppose to be on the salad or the side. The young lady said the side. I informed her I didnt get any. Before I can say anything else she said, "we CAN'T give you another salad" Excuse me I didnt ask for another salad. Why when I call, you immediately tell me what you not going to do without once apologizing for your mistake. When I called her out on her rudeness she hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager because at this point I just wanted a refund based on the fact I didn't get what I paid for and the rudeness. The manager (Kala) informed me she will not give me a refund and I was wasting her time. She went on to say I was being rude, she had other customers to attend to, and hung up on me. I guess I wasn't considered a customer worthy of tending to. Mind you I never once was rude to anyone, not even raising my voice.Long story short with the police by my side. Yes, I called them! I received my money back. They had the audacity to say I'm no longer welcome back. I guess if THEY mess up your order, YOU are not welcome back! Go figure...BTW a simple sincere apology could of went a long ways. Also, why would you ever think I would want to return???

You know how you crave something and once you get it you're disappointed? Saturday night I was craving mostaciolli. So I ran down to Paninos. Service was quick. I got home and opened the order and knew immediately I wasn't going to be satisfied. The mostaciolli was tasteless and watery and they skimped on the sauce. So once the little bit of sauce mingled with the water it was even more tasteless. The only good thing was the bread. I hadn't been to Paninos in a ling time but it certainly wasn't as good as I remember. I could have taken the $7 I spent and bought ingredients to make my own.
