Despite its smaller size, the space is thoughtfully arranged, and the efficient use of seating makes it feel welcoming rather than cramped.Food (4.0): The beans & queso dip was a highlight--creamy, flavorful, and paired with nearly perfect tortilla chips. I ordered their namesake Paloma cocktail, which was slightly watered down. My girlfriend's G Spot drink was scrumptious.Service (5.0): The behind-the-bar staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our visit.Value (4.0): For the quality of the appetizers and drinks, the prices felt reasonable and fair.Ambiance (4.5): Even at its busiest, the restaurant maintained a pleasant noise level that allowed for conversation without straining. The cozy-busy vibe added to the charm and experience. A difficult balance to strike. Parking penalty of -0.5.Uniqueness (4.0): The menu offers a solid variety of creative cocktails and delicious bites, making it a worthy choice in a neighborhood already known for great dining options.Final Thoughts:Paloma is a great spot for anyone seeking a solid bite out in Bay View. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink before bowling at Landmark Lanes or diving into appetizers, this place knows how to deliver. While parking might kill you, the experience inside more than makes up for it. We hit Paloma in Bay View for a drink and some appetizers around 7 on a Saturday, and were able to snag two seats at the bar with no wait time. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but uses its space very efficiently when it comes to seating. The bar even has little hooks for your purse, which is unexpectedly helpful. The beans & queso dip was really delicious, and the tortilla chips that came with it were pretty close to perfect. I ordered the G Spot cocktail because I love Aperol, and really enjoyed this strong, orange-forward drink. My boyfriend's paloma was a little more watered down than we expected as the namesake drink of the establishment, but was nevertheless still good. The restaurant was pretty packed but still wasn't to the point where we had to talk too loud to hear each other. Parking is a little bit tough as it's right off of KK, but we'll definitely be back!

I'd call this joint a no frills no sides I side taco truck. The food was good - I felt like the tortillas were made in house. I got a chorizo taco on corn and a beef taco hard shell. I also got a marg bc happy hour! Then I asked for a spicy marg -- it was in my top 3 fav spicy margs I've had (& I've had a LOT!) I had good service (there was a bartender, a hostess & a server - plus the staff in the kitchen) and the only thing I had to wait on was my ticket. It doesn't seat a lot of folks and I bet it's great when the weather is nice to sit on the patio. I'm big on acoustics (just a me thing) - it's loud. I'd recommend this place for sure!

We went around 5 pm on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy. Happy hour from 4-6 pm. Chips and salsa don't come for free - they are $4. That is partially the reason for the rating. I ordered the Mexican street corn quesadilla with spicy chicken . So good !!! My SO has a burrito such he said was good and the queso that came with was very good. The bartender was a female with a first name that started with a k she was very very nice and attentive. She made a great habanero margarita which was delicious.

Paloma Restaurant offers a great modern Mexican cuisine with a fantastic range of menu options. The dishes are creatively crafted, blending traditional flavors with contemporary twists. I had the tacos, and they were outstanding--perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The Bayview location has a nice outside and a great all-day happy hour on Mondays. Highly recommend Paloma for its superb menu and excellent happy hour offerings.

Took myself on a Friday lunch date to Paloma. Bellied up to the bar with a book, margarita and some real tasty tacos! Started with the chips and salsa. Salsa was super fresh and chunky, more like a pico, which I loved. The Classic Rita was refreshing and well-balanced. I had heard about the Smash Patty taco, so if course I had to try it, along with the Pineapple Carnitas. Both were delicious! The crema on the Smashburger taco was so good, I wish I could take a jar home! Also, big fan of the crunchy pink shell. The space itself is fun, funky and colorful. The tile work behind the bar was beautiful, and I loved the colorful art on the drink glasses. Happy to find another great new food spot in Bay View!

Lovely new location for Paloma - much bigger space than the original location and I love the decor/ambiance! My husband and I met some family there and we were able to snag a spot at the bar for a drink while we awaited our table (and additional guests) - I like that you can get seated at this location before your whole party arrives unlike Tosa! As I am currently 8m pregnant I love the selection of NA cocktails (for a very reasonable price). We shared the appetizer of bean and queso dip which was very yummy! And everyone got their own tacos, I don't think one plate didn't get completely finished so the food was an absolute HIT. We also ordered the Fat Elvis Taco for dessert and I would highly recommend that to anyone with a peanut butter sweet tooth! I will definitely be back in the future and recommend to friends. Our service was good not great, she was often MIA, but on a busy Friday night it is understandable. We were one of the last tables in the establishment so I appreciate them allowing us to converse as long as we did :)

Highlights/Lowlights1. Friendly Service2. Decent Food3. Cool VibeWelcome to the neighborhood Paloma! This is an awesome new spot in Bayview. I stopped by on Monday night with 2 friends. We didn't have a reservation (I don't think they do reservations) but were able to get a table really quickly. The place was packed! The vibe is cool, bright, colorful and casual. Our server greeted us quickly and service was friendly throughout. Our group did the bean and queso dip, the vegan snack wrap and the street corn for appetizers. The food was pretty good! I definitely think there is better Mexican food in Milwaukee but a casual sit down Mexican restaurant is a welcome addition to the north part of Bayview. I ordered two tacos for dinner. These were also pretty good and generously portioned. It took a while to get our check and initially we were accidentally billed for the wrong table. Everything got straightened away quickly and I know as a new restaurant they are probably doing a lot of training and learning. So glad this is here! Can't wait to try more items off the huge menu!

I thought this place was just okay. The varieties of the homemade salsas are delicious, and the variety of tacos impressive. I like that you can order them as tostadas if you prefer. The brussel sprout one was yummy as was the other carne asada one I ordered. I wish the drinks were better. Considering they are called "Paloma," I thought the drink would be amazing but it was only average, if that. The homemade chips are surprisingly light considering how dense they appear, but it's very hard to get enough salsa or guac on them bc of the bowls they use. I would probably choose a more authentic Mexican place over this one when it comes to tacos - but still, a nice option. It's very loud in the restaurant bc of the acoustics, it would appear, although bright and cheery. It proved a pretty decent spot for a bday celebration even if maybe we couldn't hear each other the entire time ;)

Service was good. Chips and salsa were not like traditional Mexican restaurants. I liked the different twists on some of their tacos but it really was just average tasting. Would not have to go back again.
